But even if Ricochet didnt "force" her, she clearly wanted to be with him, so that's why she's leaving. Would you let your loved ones give up their dreams for you? The fact that he's letting her do this just shows how selfish he is.

@@damonestephens8722 I would guess that Tony Kahn would offer her a lot of money. And I would suspect that Samantha would add a lot more value to AEW than she does to WWE. The problem AEW has is that they have a hard time growing in house talent like the WWE can. And so with an announcer as talented as Samantha, they can use her to add things to the characters that other announcers cannot. The best example of this is when she changed things up for Chelsea Green. You can tell right after Samantha did that Chelsea got even more popular. My gut tells me it'll be harder for Samantha to do that in AEW because there are seemingly more characters. Which means more will probably be asked of her. But at least she'll be with Ricochet and if that makes her happy then that is great to me. As for the WWE, it could be a positive depending on which way Michael Cole and HHH take it.

I haven't read her social media, but according to Solomonster, she got tired of people going after Ricohet about her leaving and finally broke down about why she left IN DETAIL. She said that she tried being a wrestler, but it didn't work out. She never really wanted to be an announcer. She just happened to be very good at it, so they stuck with that. She _wanted_ to be a manager, but WWE management didn't see her that way. Not that she was miserable, but being an announcer just wasn't her calling and it became too stressful. So, she decided to leave several months ago. Just a situation where two sides could not agree. No one is wrong. She did what was best for her. The door is always open for her to come back. She also stated that she didn't leave for her music career as she doesn't want anything to do with the industry. She just sings and creates because she loves it. She also stated that she is perfectly fine being a stay at home mom (she has a daughter from a previous relationship.) She has money, and her soon-to-be husband makes more than enough money. So, WWE didn't push her away. Ricohet didn't make her quit WWE. It was her decision and hers alone. I hate to see her go...but I love _watching_ her leave. :)

I know it's not a popular opinion but... I'm kinda glad. I didn't like her. I didn't like how she had to be her own character or whatever. Like I don't care about her reactions, and her getting emotional. She's the damn ring anouncer, not a personality. What's next? The bloody time keeper is gunna jump in the ring and interfere with a ladder match to secure a win for the Heel? I'm sure she's a nice person and all but I just did not like the whole thing about her getting all this screen time and a dedicated "emotional reaction cam" and such for social media. Could not give a toss what the damn ring announcer feels about the match.
