Well, then, she should practice what she preaches and stop referring to Ashleigh Hale as her daughter. The girl’s paternal grandparents raised her, and she and Samantha had no contact from the time the girl was 6 (the brother was 4) until a few years ago (she’s now 37.) Ashleigh has stated clearly that she considers her grandparents her parents and Samantha her biological mother. Still, Samantha keeps calling her her daughter (She’s an immigration attorney.) Sadly, because Samantha insisted on bashing Meghan, Ashleigh stopped talking to her, having concluded that there was no reasoning with Samantha. Once again, she has no relationship with any of her children, no relationship with her mother, a fractured relationship with her brother, and an abusive relationship with her live-in boyfriend.
