I went on the House of Seven Gables tour years ago when I visited Salem. There's a secret passage that leads from an upstairs bedroom down behind the fireplace you're allowed to walk through. Pretty cool.

I don't know why people never took to Dick Sargent, I found him ok. He was offered the role of Darren before Dick York, so the story goes but turned it down for whatever reasons.

This is one of the series of episodes referred to as the Salem Saga. I think they were the first eight episodes of season seven. I don't think this is a remake of any episode. If someone thinks so, which episode.
