Congrats on the new place! I’ve had the same rug for a few years now and with kids and dog, it hides dirt so well and cleans up so easily with a rug cleaner! I love it. ❤

Hi Sam! What i did to my closet to get my shoes off the floor is i used 3 to 4 heavy duty damage free contact hooks with a inexpensive shoe holder (over the door without using the over the door hook) and just hung it up on the narrow area. This way, it didnt take any floor space away and im able to see what shoes i want to wear on the wall. I mostly keep my light sandles, heels, and slippers on it. I’m so happy for you. So exciting!!

I have the same living room rug! It did wear out pretty quick where I was walking more but that just adds to the vintage look. It does clean very nicely. I've had lots of food spilled on mine with a toddler. Just some carpet cleaner with a wet rag and it comes right out every time.

Omggg …so this week has been od hectic and stressful for me. Tonight, I gave in and picked up some comfort food bc I thought I earned it lol. I got Szechuan chicken. Sammmm. I’ve been watching since the college days- so long ago it seems.. so so happy for you! The apt is gorgeous.. I have the same rug and I LOVE it! Have you thought about making the guest room the master? It seems much bigger and you have the outlets on each side for night stands!? The guest can have smaller bedroom with smaller bath?!

I did consider that, but I really like having the private bathroom in the bedroom, and the way the sun hits the apartment throughout the day, the master is a lot more cozy and doesn’t get as bright. I would rather the office get more light for filming purposes.
