Oh ick, mostly radio pop/EDM from the last decade. A major part of Samba's appeal was the mostly LatAm track list, and that's been seriously pared down. Pass-- thanks for saving me some cash.

@@billfusion Like, i get it. Its trying to appeal to the modern audience yet its more of a party game in a way, but come on. We havent gotten a SDA game in years and kinda threw in music that is popular party songs that appeals to us. Kinda makes me think this game was partnered with Harmonix cause they always get music that is just not worth it in a rhythm game. Even so reminds me when DDR puts some english music in their game and it was meh. More Vg music and some japanese dj's is good enough for me, not english music. They could at least have done what Grove Coaster Wei Wei Party did and or Taiko did and use music from properties, and or japanese artists from anime and stuff

Fugue in G Minor is also specifically the version made for the RT minigame R39 - En Garde, Jean-François! Unlike Theme of Phantom R, this track is in the base setlist and doesn’t require the purchase of any DLC :)

Trying hard to enjoy this game. Of the 40 songs available there's only around 8 I actually like, and even then not all of them are fun to play. But everyone has their own taste in music. It feels like the developers just picked their favorite songs and put them in the game instead of picking songs that are actually fun and a good fit for the theme of the game. The demo was misleading. It had two songs by Sean Paul and Kesha and those were fun, so you'd assume the game would have a decent soundtrack, but it doesn't. For example, what made the developers think that shaking maracas to a Bon Jovi song makes any kind of sense at all? The two dlc packs available don't help much either as they're just songs from other Sega franchises. I'm a huge Sonic fan, but adding a few songs and some costumes doesn't add anything to the experience. Samba De Janero isn't even in the game, but it was in Sonic & All Stars Racing back on the Wii. Isn't that Amigo's theme song? Seems like a missed opportunity on Sega's part. If they're planning on doing a service like Just Dance where they keep adding a few songs every month, that would make it better. But if it's just the 40 songs and that's it, then that's not good.

Trash soundtrack, instant NO BUY. Sega has made strides in Japanese arcades with their rhythm games like Chunithm, maimai, Ongeki, and Project Diva to see them make a game with such horrid music like this is a missed opportunity. The level of bad this song list is is on par with Konami when they made DDR games for the US market filling them with terrible pop songs you hear on the radio. What Sega should have done is utilize their in house and commissioned acts to make the soundtrack. It would have saved them money in licensing costs for these terrible licensed songs. This game is already niche in nature, wasting money on expensive pop songs is just that, wasting money. Plus in a couple of years this game will cease to exist in the eshop once the agreements to keep these songs in the game expire.
