Amazing video. I’m an FtM who’s kinda afraid to go to the gym, so this contained much relevant information for me. I also have ASD so a video about that would be great.

I also always go to the gym in my gym clothes also I wear my compression leggings and shorts under some baggy trousers that I literally take off IN the gym and no one ever thinks twice about it I see a lot of people taking certain clothes off in the gym.

I can't go to the gym because I wear a binder. I'm pre op and pre t and if I don't bind I would want to off myself. I know that this is an older video, but if you see this, please help me out, because I don't know what to do. I really want to get in shape so I pass better and feel better.

@@coach_sambarnes thank you. I have been doing home workouts for a while, but they're not doing much for me. I only have two 10 lbs dumbells and thats it. my friend is encouraging me to get a gym membership but I'm just afraid of cracking my ribs or getting clocked

@@dc-hx5kh in the exact same position here, been trying my best with home workouts but with light weight and limited equipment theres not much muscle to be built

update: I went to the gym today with a friend. I wore my binder, and I could barely breathe. The gym definitely makes me feel validated, so I find it worth it at the cost of my health. I don't recommend working out in a binder, but if you do, it'll hurt like hell and you'll barely be able to breathe.

@@dc-hx5kh dude nooo. at least wear a size up if you're going to wear a binder. if you damage your ribs enough you can make yourself ineligible for top surgery in the future edit: Have you tried trans tape / KT tape? please look into that! my chest is on the slightly bigger side but transtape still flattened me enough to pass and you can wear it at the gym with no trouble.
