Oooh I like the idea of a part 2. I'm currently using the Huda Beauty faux filter stick foundation when I travel and such because it does last a very long time on my skin and longevity is very important to me but it requires a good moisturiser and the right foundation brush. So I'd love to see your opinions on that one and how it compares to other sticks to get a beter idea of what I might like to get next time. Also totally agree your skin looks extra lovely in this video. Thanks for uploading!

I guess first I need to say I’m almost 68 so I am probably not the target audience for it but I rushed to buy the Charlotte Tilbury because I love her products. I wish I had waited and watched some reviews on it. That stuff is absolutely awful. It’s not “glowy”, it looks like you rubbed lard on your face. It has absolutely no coverage and no purpose as far as I can tell. I feel like she should send everyone who bought it a refund and an apology. I do like the Dior very much but I think my favorite is still Lancôme Teint Idǒle Ultra Wear Foundation Stick. I have been using it for years and it is a beautiful product. I love your videos and miss Pixiwoo!
@annajohns7383 ай бұрын
I absolutely will never buy Charlotte Tilbury products because she tests on animals. Technology means that, in this day and age, there is no reason to test make up on animals. The only reason is to be able to seek to the Chinese market where, despicably, it is law that all make up on the market must have been tested on animals. So Charlotte Tilbury obviously only tests on animals so she can sell to the Chinese market. Greedy and disgusting. Also she developed her products for catwalk runway shows, where the ‘lard on face’ look photographs well for editorial and looks good on the catwalk, but is absolutely awful for any normal person wearing make up in normal everyday life.
@autumnleaves-773 ай бұрын
I feel the same about Charlotte Tilbury products; I think they are over priced and over hyped. I've noticed all CT models have the exact same look- the 'pillow talk look.' I know this is her signature look which made her famous but I always thought the sign of a good make-up artist is that they can create a variety of looks that are individual and unique. I wanted to try them because I wanted to know what the fuss was about and I found the standard of the products to be very poor, with cheap looking packaging. By comparison Joan Collins does a fabulous line of make-up, cheaper than CT, less hype and the quality is amazing! I love the powder and lipstick compacts. She has a lipstick called 'Marilyn' named after Marilyn Monroe and inspired by her. Joan said herself it is better than CT.

I have just bought Charlotte tilbury and love it. It looks shiny at first but on me it does settle in well, I don’t have very dry skin but it is very sensitive and rosacea prone so needs moisture. I have to say I disagree with Sam re emphasising texture, I find it really doesn’t at all, and every other foundation no matter how light looks slightly cakey on my nose and bit of my cheek. It gives no coverage really but that is ok for me as I feel it gives a good base to use concealer on red area or any blemishes. In fact it makes the concealer look way more natural and less cakey. I personally don’t even use powder with it as I like the glow. People have complimented me on how good my skin looks wearing this saying I look really fresh! I’ll be wearing it every day. For me it’s perfect light base and it really stays on which is unusual for such a light product.

I fell for the tilbury hype AGAIN despite being burned in the past (I’m a marketer’s dream) and agree re the stick. I am very curious about the Charlotte Tilbury, I see all sorts of videos the one by Sienna Miller included, it looks like a really premium product. I am afraid of foundations, I only use really indie and clean brands that are and look ultra natural. I use to wear the Guerlain stick foundation in special occasions, together with their powder. It was not bad but their colour range was quite limited.

Hi, need to know if the Dior smells as strongly as their Forever liquid range. I love the formula of Forever Matte but the perfume is too strong for me both in terms of just annoyance, but more importantly, how badly it irritates my eyes. They just stream (even a swatch on my jaw does this now). I will be using more than you as I do need more coverage. Thanks.
