Yep, as a not beginner anymore, it is my favourite art style to come back to. It definitely has it's place as long as you do it with intention. Personally, I love using it the most when drawing animals or other fluffy things.

An easy way to remember complentary colors without having to relay in the arbitrariness of the color wheel is knowing that complementary colors are always: •One Primary color (Red/Blue/Yellow) and One Secundary color (Orange/Purple/Green). •The Complementary color is the Primary Color that dosn't makes the Secundary Color. Example: Orange is Yellow + Red, then the complementary is Blue. Purple is Red + Blue, then the complementary is Yellow. And in the other way around you just have to think in what secundary color you can't make with your primary color. Example: With Red you can make Orange (Yellow + Red) and Purple (Blue + Red), so the complementary is Green (Blue + Yellow)

But now ive found a art style i can do and is easy for me and i actually like what i make now! (My pfp is made by me took like 4+ hours to drawing + sketch 🥲-) ty!

9:43 this one is also useful when you want to paint from a photo you made on an overcast day and there aren’t much shadows on the buildings. Lots of places have several Streetview versions made months, or even years apart and it is likely that you’ll find a sunny one where you can observe the shadow shapes while keeping your own photo as the main reference
