There's a saying in English "Green with jealousy" so the color palette actually compliments her personality! I like the creativity of the first one, but I like the second character as a whole better. Your art is so amazing! I feel like a lot of self-taught artists think they're automatically not as good as someone with training, but I think they're automatically a leg up because you're so good you taught yourself

For the first one, I think for the yellow, you could've made her eyes and earrings yellow. Maybe even the eyes of the dog could've been yellow to break up the analogous color pallette. But great job!

i find it so interesting that you mentioned people are jealous of the opposite art styles that they have! i have a painterly less clean art style (cause im lazy but also cursed with perfectionism) and i have always always been so jealous of people with anime or art styles similar to yours that are so clean and beautiful! every shadow looks very intentional and i struggle so much with that in my own art 😅

I absolutely love your art style! The amount of time that you put into every piece is incredible and really pays off! (the ghost girl is my fav 💚) Going back to the jealousy thing, I usually get super insecure with my art bc I have a very simplified, cartoony style and sometimes feel like I have to put a ton of detail in or else I'm just being "lazy" or that my art will be looked down on if I don't, but then I realize that everyone has their own thing going on when they draw and that mine just happens to be less detailed then some. I'm pretty satisfied where I'm at art-wise now and I love drawing in my own way :D

I don't actually do commissions but I do draw for friends and family. Personally my list is: No: - Hyper Realistic Stuff (My Style Is A Mix Between Cartoony And Realistic) - Sketches (Since I Hate Sketching. I create a basic shape for the head then go from there.) - Drawings With Alot Of Neon Bright Colors (Hurts My Eyes) - Complicated Backgrounds. Yes: - Game Related Characters - Complicated Designs (As Long As I Have A Clear Reference) - Very Detailed Shading (I Have A Cartoon-like Style with semi-realistic shading.) - Mystical-Like Theme. - Mix Of Bright And Dark Colors.

When you were talking abt your jealously it made me realize how similar we are, i use to do the same with sketchbookz, Ill always find someone with a great style and a big puffy book and i would try the same but always wanted to wuit and cry. My hair is also feally straight i have to put a lot of shampoo in my hair to make it a bit puffy, I also have to braid my hair so its not straight. I hate going outside with my straight hair too its annoying when it gets in ur eyes. I also get jealous of different artstyles and bc of it i change my style a lot to the poing i dont even know my art style anymore, i don't even have one, i mean even seeing ur art makes me jealous i wish i had a style like that, Ive been drawing for 10 years and im still trashy, and i also cant spell 😭

As best as I can explain, a digital artist is someone who just draws digitally (can be anything), whereas a concept artist is someone who will make concept art of characters, props, etc, for things like video games, TV, books, they could do this digitally or traditionally
