I love Hanacue. Her art is in a anime style and the way she draws her eyes are like adjiwnwicdni I can’t even explain how beautiful they are. She has this almost messy art style that doesn’t look perfect if you zoom in but if you zoom out it makes sense! I would definitely recommend looking at her art

My favorite artists use traditional materials, that is, non digital, as those are the materials I work with. But, I am very impressed with the creative storytelling of all these digital artists. So many stunning images, superb work. Already, I see top end auction houses like Sothebys and Christies gradually representing digital work now on world stage. I hope this trend continues alongside traditional art genres.

@Mathis can I ask if this is from experience or research? I’m interested in becoming a concept artist, but this has me reconsidering. If you’re speaking from experience then different companies might do things a little differently, (at least I hope) and I could still work towards a career in concept art after some more research. If you’re speaking of already researching many different concept art careers, I might want to reconsider, because with my perfectionism I don’t think I would be able to do more than 1 or 2 pieces a day.

If I may add one to the list, Yang Qi is an incredible Chinese artist who had worked on the design of a few video games in the past and had recently given his brush to another that I suspect is gonna make him quite a bit more famous than he already is. That man draws similarly dark atmospheres as Zeen Chin (which btw, absolutely deserves his spot in this list. Like, absolutely) and is a monster of character design. The usual reflex while watching his painting is "Where the hell does he find his inspiration?!" Also, I wanted to point out that I began to watch your videos a couple days ago because I got started with a drawing tablet and fetched some advices (which you did beautifully, thanks a lot for that) and didn't even realize who you are as a painter (I knew I saw your style somewhere but didn't make the connection). You definitely deserve a spot on this list too. Your arts are incredible and I lost count of how many ended up on my laptop (and caused amazed reactions from friends and family members alike). Btw, it's interesting to see how each artist has their own world and strengths. You're a master of cute anime characters and freckles as well as lighting and facial expressions. Zeen Chin is a beast for his compositions and atmosphere, Samuelyounart for his very distinctive style and brush strokes, Loisvb for her precision and grace which gives you the feeling she's drawing with feathers... Lulusketch, I'm not necessarily a fan of her character design but good lord, is she talented for environments. On the side note. I wish Jee Yung Lee were a little less into Marvel and the like because, to me, he's one of the most talented artists on the planet but I'm not too receptive to the comics universe myself. I'm not judging though, he should definitely paint what he loves to paint and it doesn't prevent me from gapping in admiration before his arts.

one of my favorite artists has to be Lampzeni, or Zeniyan their use of colours and texture is incredible, the way they put strong emotions into their environments blows me away every time. One thing that i love the most about their art though is the story they're building with every single art piece. As you can tell, it's about lamps :D! I love every single one of the character's designs oh god i sound overenthusiastic- also they compose music and it's absolutely amazing
