Looks like you came up with an excellent solution to the problem. Congrats. There are problems that are inevitable, and there are problems that are avoidable. It might be helpful for you to ask someone from outside your system to run a safety check for you. I've noticed that as great as you are, details and patience are not your natural gifts -- nothing wrong with that as long as you have others around you to balance them out. If there isn't someone to do a safety check for you, get your farming friends together, set up requirements and make it happen within your group. Years ago, hospitals realized it was in their interest to have a system to oversee many issues including safety, now known as The Joint Commission. Everyone who uses a hospital benefits. No reason why something similar but casual, small and addressing your needs cannot be created. Best wishes.

Kevin, you and Rachel did the right thing by taking her to the Vet. She's part of your outside family. When she looked at you when she was eating it was like she was saying thank you from her eyes!
@juneramirez85802 жыл бұрын
I can understand that not everyone who has animals can afford thousands of dollars for some medical bills. I live on social security and am retired. If I spent thousands on just one animal then I and the animals I have would suffer the consequence of that decision. But they would be evaluated by a vet and I would make my decision based on the situation. But even I could afford $500 or under vet bill.

I absolutely LOVE Kevin's animal voices!! I love the videos like this. Its like we are a friend walking around w yall on the farm. I appreciate that yall are so kind to viewers. You're "team work" is so refreshing and the way God intended families to be!! As for spending the money to help Ghost Face, I would have done the same thing. She has been a part of your farm and lives and HEART and deserves to be cared for. I was thinking.. You said she would bring about 300 so it was more to get her care than she would sale for but when you consider sales of future babies from her and her kids having babies, really that far outweighs the vet bill..by far!! How yall love your animals is one of the greatest things about your channel and I appreciate that!! Does that make sense? Another great post.. I always look forward to seeing your content and your sweet family. Prayers God blesses you all beyond measure. (Rachel, continuing prayers for.you Mom.
