My late father used to work at Karachi Tile Factory of Nausherwanji son of I believe of Sir Jashid Mehta (founder of modern Karachi). The Parsi community are famous for their philanthropy and charity works at Karachi and other Indo-Pak subcontinent. At Karachi Tiles factory Seth Nausherwanji (in Balochi my father called him Nasranji) allowed Baloch workers to built their huts and semi-concrete houses in premises of factory. Later on when this factory dysfunctional then the land sold to local builder who tried to removed these houses but later on the builders were agreed to build single stories houses for every owner. Now this society also known as "Baloch Garden Cooperative Housing Society" thanks to Parsi Community of Karachi

We should learn from them, Their community is decreasing day by day in Pakistan due to some reasons, we should find out the reasons behid this, the government of Pakistan should preserve their culture and historical parsi buildings and heritage etc, we should support them in every way and if they have any problems find out the solutions of such a loyal and civilized people of Pakistan, government should fully support them in every wake of life. Faheem: One of the reasons that Karachi has lost its old glory is because of the influx of too many people from all over Pakistan.....the land simply cannot support that many people people in a poverty stricken country like Pakistan. Secondly, due to the corruption endemic all over Karachi ( and Pakistan) there never has been any planning in the urban development of Karachi and therefore the beautification of Karachi came to a full stop literally decades ago, like 50 years ago. I am afraid with all the odds that Karachi has had to face since Partition, even Parsis wouldn't have been able to salvage the doomed city.........it's well wishers were too few compared to the millions of wretchedly poor and illiterate people that have devastated the very ambiance and essence of Karachi like it used to be !!😢😢😢😢
