Gotta have the good tools. I'm a commercial refrigeration field service technician. I use a Veto wheeler bag filled with knipex, wera, and wiha tools. It's just seems easier to do a job right when you have great tools.

Sounds like a great setup!

I agree the veto pro pack bags are great. Knipex, wera and wiha are pretty hard to bet for there quality. Rothenburger also some great tools (mostly plumbing related). I have some of Klein tools pilers are they great really wanted the wera or kinpex but they where out of my price at the time

I got that milwaukee bag for 99 bucks on a price error at hd tried it and hated it. I was lured in by putting shallow organizer on the bottom but made the heavy bag ridiculously heavy. I tried to sell it and no one wanted it even at 150 so I returned it. I'm a big veto person tech pack mct xl sbld ect I got a ton of them. My big sticking point is this bag held as much comfortably as my mct did comfortably. The mct is way smaller than this and milwaukee is more like xl size. Thr pockets weren't the same quality as well not paying almost 80 to 100 bucks more for a bag because it's red. It was crazy that I couldn't even sell it like the packout backpack that I got online in a giveaway. I do suggest you consider a mct blackout one of these days but I'm glad it's working out for now. Welcome to the ramping up of quality in tool bags or tools pb swiss anyone?

Having the right tools and in good quality definitely makes a difference. It's also a good idea to have a setup like you are building. I'm doing a job tomorrow and I'm sitting here thinking about what I need to take to do the job myself and it would be kinda beneficial to have a kit like that. At any rate, great video and I can't wait to see where this goes for you, I hope it does very well and you can do this for a good long while. Good luck and see you in your next video 😁

It is always wise to spend a little more and get truly good tools and bags/storage. While it might be a financial pinch initially, it is well worth it in the long run since everything will last much longer! I have one of the VETO tech pac wheelers and it has been fantastic! Well worth the ~$400 price tag. That Milwaukee pack looks pretty sweet too, better than the backpack, imho. My only issue with the VETO is not being able to easily bring along any of my Milwaukee Packout cases! lol

Loved the video Sam. A tool I have found useful is an oscillating saw. Never used the M12 version but I'd be surprised if it isn't great for DIY things around the house. I have tried a couple different bags and hadn't found one I liked yet. This bag looks great except for the price, not in my current budget. I agree it pays to buy quality though.

I started out with a couple of go bags, but I personally seldom need to doing anything away from home. So I recently sprung for the US General 56" rolling cabinet. I hope it will allow me to finally organize my stuff so I can lay hands on what I need easily. I also am at the point of my tool collecting cycle where I am keeping an eye out for quality upgrades when stuff goes on sale. It may not be totally necessary, but it sure is satisfying.

@@SamGreenMaker For years I kept thinking I could build myself some cabinets with drawers. But if you use cabinet grade ply & quality slides, it's similar money. Plus, it's simply unbox & go. Instead of weeks (in my case) of fiddling only to be constantly irritated by the inevitable small imperfections. lol

I like Veto bags , love them. But I found two smaller bags better, one large size gets heavy. I was an HVAC tech. The packout storage system is fantastic.

Eight VetoProPac bags and still want more. Blackout Tech PAC, Blackout Meterbag2, Backout Tech TP-XD, Tech TP-LC, Tech TP-LD, Blackout TB6B, Tech HD2, and OC140. Basically all the Tech Series except for XXL. The PAC is great if you want it all in one bag with laptop but it is incredibly heavy and cannot recommend unless you stay in one spot all day. I used my PAC in boom lifts so I never had to go back down for anything. XD, XL, and LC are amazing for going in and out of buildings. Always buy Veto between March and July so you get the free bag that is one size tier lower. My bags are all years old with use and look like new. They’re basically unbreakable.

I do woodworking and finish carpentry. I have gone through so many hand tool bags and never been happy with any of them. They kinda become a catch all, they get spilled in the trailer and I don't like digging through zip uos for all my sharp pointy tools. I looked at the packout bags, but ended up juat throwing everything in the smaller paxkout hard box.

Minor nitpick - that rigid toolbox *is* part of a modular system just like Packout - they all nest and connect together.

I have the packout tote that’s the same size, and have loved it, if I didn’t already have it having the ability to close it up and not accumulate dust/dirt would be nice. As far as tools: a torpedo level, a nice flat pry bar, adjustable wrench, needle nose pliers, a set of ball end Allen keys, those are some of the all around tools I found I needed often, and added to my own kit

I took most of my screw drivers out kept the #2 Phillips and slotted put #1 of each on outside then the rest of those spots I put the long wiha nut driver impact bits there not having all those screw driver handles there helped with space and I always need a good nut driver , having the impact you can do most screwing tasks with them so look to cut down on screw drivers is my 2 cents

@@SamGreenMaker Could have been a recording mistake or the right channel audio was deleted or something before export and upload. You might want to look at your project file with earbuds in and play it back and see if you can replicate the issue, if you playback over speakers the issue can be masked by the audio reflecting off of surfaces.
