I make my edge band clamps with old bike tire inner tubes. Cut them about 8" long(experiment) and then insert the clamp pads a couple inches in each end of the tube. They work perfectly fine and they're way cheaper.

Okay so..... I figured I'd find a couple of more stocking stuffers for my son who is getting into woodworking but what happened is that I had to order " two " of a few of these things......one from Santa and one FOR Santa.

The drill bit keychain rules, it’s great for shop work but I especially love it for working on a job site. My pockets and pouches aren’t full of loose bits to dig around for, I never have to look around to find where I put a bit down or have them all roll all over the place, or go and open up the case to find a bit, they’re just right there on my hip it’s awesome.

I have a few of the bit holders. I customize them for each task. I also color code them. For example all the red ones are Robertson bits, green are Phillips and black are torx. Makes it quicker to find the right bit.

That bit holder is a great idea. I had designed and 3D printed a small block to hold 5 bits to keep in my pocket while working with my bit driver, but these are even easier to keep clipped in an accessible spot.

Thin rip jig on order! Along with the obvious tasks, I am going to use it to guide my slab sawing sled. The jig will help keep the sled against the fence while I rip the raggedy edge off the slab. Kinda like a jig to guide a jig. Can't wait to try it out! Thanks!

Morning. Another great tool video. After seeing you wear them for so long, I recently purchased a pair of IsoTunes headphones. I was concerned that listening to music while I worked would be a huge distraction. But, at 70 years old, I realized that the first thing I turn on when I get to the shop is the radio. Then I turn it up to cover the shop noises throughout the day. Duh. They are wonderful. Not only are my tunes crystal clear, the noise cancelling feature is amazing. But, I can still hear someone speaking to me, I can still hear the machines to know when something sounds different and the music actually keeps my mind from wandering and I don't lose my focus. I also try to buy from local small businesses, so it's a win all around. Also, the Bow clamps look good. Their featherboards are great. I would love to eliminate my box of miscellaneous bench clamps. Thanks. Merry Christmas blessings to you and yours.

Love my IGaging thin rip jig. I use it often because I refuse to make thin cuts between the fence and the blade but also because I don't have to measure to adjust the fence for every cut.

Ok I’m for sure getting the caribeaner and the table saw guide for thin cuts. I hate having the cutoffs shoot out of the saw, yes I stand off to the side just to be safe. But I just know there will be a day I forget and this would 100% prevent that from being a problem!

That MPower sb1 is their best setup yet. I couldn't click that link fast enough. A single stone setup gives access to all grits at all angles of attack. It's also ambidextrous (us lefties love this). Now they need to start offering add-on stones with a range of grit combinations to make this a modular system for those who might want to upgrade in the future. Maybe even sell the stands, strops, waxes, and stones separately and let the buyer build their own custom setup.

I bought the Milescraft drill block recently (the metric version), but have yet to use it. I have a thin rip jig with three knobs, and wouldn't want a single knob version. I agree with almost all the recommendations in this video, I have most of them. My exception is ISO Tunes. I am serious about this one for 2 main reasons. First it breaks my heart to not support the product for all the same reasons that Stumpy does but I just cant. I had the ear buds and the over the ear headphone ISOtunes and I am sorry but I just dont agree because the audio quality is really bad. Forgo them and just use a good set of over the ear, headset type protection for a fraction of the cost like what you might use at a shooting range or get a good set of noise canceling headphones with better sound quality. Im all for protecting hearing, but if the audio quality/noise cancelation of a headset cant compete with the SPL of a Dewalt contractor table saw then I just have to disagree with Stumpy on this one. Again, it breaks my heart to say this because I truly believe in supporting small business, because I am one. But ISotunes poor audio quality and average noise cancelation technology just doesnt cut it for me. Your mileage may vary

Not a big fan of drill blocks. They make it hard to line up precisely with the mark. Don't the Bow clamps lift the work piece of the table slightly? (that's common to many side clamps) On 2 occasions it looks like they do in the video.

Lift the drill block so the bit protrudes from the bottom where you can see to place the point on your mark. Then lower the block to drill.
