It looks awesome 😍😍😍 I also mixed Samhain with Halloween 💀 🎃 on my sacred spaces. And I realised one thing: During this time of the year even a witch in the broom closet can very openly show her witchy side. I love and enjoy this! 🥰

Love it! I have both Halloween and Samhain decor on my altar as well. 🎃What matters is that we love the way our altar is set up.

Hello Hearth. In nature things are unordered and as they are. Leaves land where they will and that is right. Thanks to your video I’ve had an epiphany! I saw that you didn’t dress your altar for artistic aesthetics but because each item was filled with your intension and the inter-relations had to vibrate in resonance with your own. Much love 💗

If you do carve a pumpkin on All Hallows it is good o cook it to pulp and use it for pumpkin pie and roast the pumpkin seeds, sort of an offering for the new year.

Yes!!! My husband and I decorate like crazy for Samhain. My son was born around Samhain and from his 3 rd birthday on when we got our own house we went crazy w decorations. My husband made an entire graveyard that u had to go through and we took our round pool he covered it in black garbage bags we got a witch decoration and we gave her a wooden paddle and he did something but it made the pool bubble and he put wood all around it and wrapped red n orange lights so it looked like fire. He built a haunted house and he put speakers through it for the music like u have and he also made it to where the dog machine went through a pipe so it was foggy but not to much. He made spinning doors a mate in it and we had all kinds of animated life size Halloween decorations of dead butlers, pirates, mummies and they all had motivation sensors then after the haunted house u went through the pumpkin patch. We would buy pumpkins a lot and there was a big patch of the front lawn that we let grow out and we put pumpkins in it and each kid got to pick one pumpkin. We would have a pumpkin painting contest. I wasn’t arming those kids w knives! So we painted. We did a piñata we did a hay ride w the kids I taught them how to make corn husks dolls.n inside my house was the other butler and when u walked in u had to step on my welcome mat and is wound scream when u stepped on it I had a dead bride n groom, bats hanging that talk to each other, hanging caged skeletons, skulls hanging we got this vinyl back drop. It was an entire graveyard scene and we turned the entire house into a graveyard! On the food table I cooked everything myself. I made cheese platters antipasto, marinara, 3 trays of meatballs, I would do 3 trays of sausages n peppers n sausage n peppers marinara, 5 trays eggplant parm, 5 trays of chicken parm, 4 trays of baked ziti n some salads, n a shit load of Italian bread all made by scratch and by only me everything took me 2 days and maybe 4 hrs. Sleep but it was worth it. I bought the cake that’s were I draw the line I’m not baking any cake I don’t have the patience and I had 2 different punches one came out of my skull mountain fountain and the other was in my huge skull punch bowl n we had a blood fountain on the candy table. But when he hit about 13 I guess it wasn’t cool anymore. We would start decorating in the beginning of August. My husband who is trying to run a business worked till it got dark then came home and spent about 3 -4 hours a night. N now this year my baby boy is gonna be 20. So we still decorate but not like we used to at all. And now I make him a grown up birthday dinner w the grandparents n his aunt n cousins n that’s it. Time it moves so fast. I wish I could have one of those parties back at least once. So Samhain is my favorite then Yule but it’s also a lil nostalgic n sad at the same time.

I am so glad I found you! I've only recently figured out what I have been practicing for the last few years is actually Hoodoo! I thought it was just witchcraft but apparently it's not. A few years ago I followed a few lovely US witches, who seemed to be practicing the same way I was, one being FeatherGardenBelle (Witchy Mommy) who, bless her, just had her channel stolen :( I also followed Witch of Wonderlust, and a few more. Also a fab witchy woman on twitter who threw the bones for me sometimes. I've even bought stuff from your shop, and made my own grisgris bags after I bought a few from you. This is all happened completely by accident. I started out Wiccan, but that didn't suit me, so I read lots and lots and wandered off into various paths, and I thought I had fallen into a lovely traditional witchcraft path. Ooops. I'm so glad I've found your channel now. A fellow Brit Hoodoo practitioner, and to cap it all, the lovely woman who owns the fab shop! X

Hearth, I would definitely like to see that video on Jack-O-Lanterns. Would you consider making (or getting a crafty friend to make) one out of a turnip so we could see an example of the OG Jack-O-Lantern?

Lovely. But might I suggest a candle in the cauldron. It would balance better, I think. Blessed Samhain🎃☺

im not sure if this will get answered but i was wondering if putting a picture of my father (who just passed in July) would be acceptable? and maybe lighting a small candle for him?

See now when I try to be all traditional and put my Samhain things out in May I’m crazy 😂 I try to tell those who don’t know any better that it’s simply like haloween for the Southern Hemisphere (technically it’s not but their not into its technicality’s) so I’m just weird 😂🤷🏽♀️🎃
