This helped tremendously! I have a RAID card and have gotten too lazy relying on it. In conjunction with my card, I should never lose data.

Hi Sam, does the program have to be open to back up?
@SamHayden Жыл бұрын
Hi, yes when it is installed it will run in the background, so yes it has to be running in the background to perform the backup. Thank you for watching and commenting, much appreciated!

Is this program has incremental backup?
@SamHayden Жыл бұрын
Hi, thank you for commenting and watching. So Fbackup application only does Full and Mirror backup types. If you want to use the incremental and differential backup types, you can try a commercial application as Backup4all.

no Fbackup9 is not much of a program, you don't need it to back up videos and pic's, it's useless

When you run a backup on a schedule, does it overwrite what has already been backed up, just overwrite what files have been changed, or does it allow for versioning?

Great question! In FBackup, if you’re using the default Mirror backup, it will only back up new or changed files each time, overwriting the previous versions without keeping older copies (so no versioning). If you choose Full backup, it’ll create a new copy of everything each time, so you’ll end up with multiple versions but at the cost of more storage space. For true versioning with incremental or differential backups, you’d need the paid version, Backup4all. Hope this helps!
