Sami Hamdi at My Deen at 6/13/2024

Alhumdulillah, Fresno had the honor of hosting Sidi Sami Hamdi last night at My Deen. I recorded his lecture in three parts, but it was a great experience having an engaged conversation over dinner with him (though it took me some time to eat at all as I wanted to ask and express so much). I've enjoyed his insights into history, deen, and geo-politics for some time now, and it was great to be able to speak with him on many issues of concern for the Ummah, including the consequences of normalization, and my son was able to mention the circumstances of Nubians and their history as well as Sudan. This is a time of sorting out, where those who support Palestine and the oppressed have shown their true colors, and those who support genocide and oppression have shown their true colors. May Allah ta' ala give us Tawfeeq.
