I love this band and this record is badass! Saw them numerous times on tour and have even peeled out in a Lincoln Town car after their show in a deserted downtown Tulsa parking lot back in the day! 💗 Samiam!

in the 90s this band was considered 'emocore' (like a lot of bands like Farside,SDRS ...)and nobody was offended by it, now it is clear that no one wants to hear about the word 'emo', for me this is a punk band, but also, why not, emocore ( i have seen many times this band in live and blah blah blah). The term emocore always been rather vague, for me, just a way to classify all slower and melodic groups that met in the 90's hardcore scene. Respect and thanks for upload!

Good christ. Samiam is a melodic punk band. They don't sound anything like old emo (Embrace, Rites of Spring,etc.) and they don't sound anything like the sniveling haircut/handjobs that call themselves emo today. Different Record Labels for the US and European album release, I believe the band is from the Netherlands. Anyways, this is the video I prefer.

I've listened to this band for quite a while and I always used to pronounce them "Say-mi-am" but I suppose that's not right and it's rather "Sam-I-am" as the writing suggest. Which one's right?
