It is implied Glamoth was destroyed years before the main story hence why it's no more than history in books. Firefly stood there in space for a good amount of time before Elio sent Kafka to fetch her.

Haven't even got to the musical analysis but this reaction is one of the few that I actually liked. The impact of her at the end against the swarm, the smashing of the whole planet, and not being downbad for Kafka but actually feeling a bit uncomfortable for the way she talked about it, smiled with a glass of wine in her hand. I also felt kinda uncomfortable watching that and every other cc I've watched so far was just like 'omg Kafka'

@@Samizard Same bro! Dommy mommy type character just don't really do it for me, even when their design is great. She might not even be in my top 20 HSR characters. Not cause I think she's a bad character, but there's just soooo many other great ones! But as a fellow DoT enjoyer, her + BS + RM + FX are still my strongest team in the game, I feel you man haha

@@keitokarl Could also be, yes. We don't know the exact time. But when I read texts about Glamoth it always sounds as they're talking/writing about an ancient civilisation, so my guess is that Glamoth is already gone for a really long time.

I guess the same power that modified the SAM suit also kept firefly alive in space for thousands of years(nanook didn’t become a aeon during the swarm so firefly is older than nanook)

​@@ryuu8360Her suit shouldn't be modified. There is an explanation that her ultimate combustion mode is not a hidden function of her suit, but a manifestation of Firefly's Iron Will. Also she is not the only one who is floating in space. You can see other green lights in the back. And Kafka talks about "Fyreflies", so multiple.

@@fleup3870 I think Kafkas "Fireflies" comment, was a Script thing. We know that the script is almost impossible to understand untill the moment happens. Most likely, its written in riddles. and Kafka mightve known she was recruiting someone, but a clue to finding her was "Fireflies dancing among the stars" Idk, her "ah..." before that sounds like it was a realization. OFC im prob wrong, but i think the other lights are just Stars. atleast thats what they look like.

@@TheDwagonHD I think you might be on to something not gonna lie. Every time we heard a narrative of the script in Star Rail, i.e. the end of Penacony 2.2 story, it talks in a very vague sense. We understand it because we played through the story but we give that narrative to someone playing in 1.6 and not read leaks, guarantee you they won't understand what they are reading. They will know this is for something in the future, they will know it's a plotline in the story but wtf is it supposed to entail, something like that

I hate to make this "joke" but this is the Grave of the Fireflies.... also best girl deserves nothing but happiness after this past. I still wonder if March 7th might formerly be their Empress Titania as well. She does seem to be genetically engineered with her 6 phase ice, on top of that if I understand it Titania had major breakdown during the swarm onslaught, something one would not be able to continue to function with if they remembered. If I remember, Titania was basically just a figurehead the other SAMs/Fireflies were based on, but she got tired of being a figurehead and wanted to be more than that. There's so many different theories with evidence that it's impossible to say any particular one is right.

Yo, this is exactly what I thought on my reddit schizo theory post. Like I know Yaoshi wasnt alive during the disaster, but from how I understood both the myriad and this short, I believe this is after the "end" of the disaster and the destruction of Glamoth. Seeing how remnants of the swarm are supposedly much larger than this one (think the one that almost ate the express, which was basically a massive storm in space), though I'm not saying this isn't on the same scale and was possibly smaller due to being a "younger" Swarm mother, it could be interpreted as it possibly being at a point where Yaoshi had already become an Aeon.

I feel like Firefly became an emanator or something after the fight. I'm not sure how else to explain the giant tree that grows from her tears, how she stays alive in space in a green glow for thousands of years, or how she pushes her armor beyond it's design with the green flame, and is suddenly able to destroy her dead planet when she struggled with the swarm earlier.

Before this animation was posted, I researched Firefly and I honestly got the impression that Trailblazer was the one who found Firefly in her Cryopod and recruited her. I guess I was wrong. I was kind of hoping that we would see Stellaron Hunter Trailblazer in this animation. Maybe it's still too early to tell even after watching this animation. There’s something very odd about that ending. I feel like I'm missing something here that I can't piece together. She couldn't have survived for so many years while suffering from her ELS. The only way I can think of how she survived all these years while preserving the ELS was that she was in cryostasis. Maybe we might learn more once her banner is released to check out her character story. I'm still holding on to the theory that Trailblazer recruited Firefly.

You know what hurts the most about this vid? In the previous one i absolutely adored the one with glasses, I found her super cute. And it was the same one who died sitting in front of Firefly here. So Hoyo basicallu pulled off a George R.R. Martin on me, making sure I fell in love with a character then killing her off.

@@Aryah. A good point, since the prior video casually pointed out that they use hair length as a signal. Longer hair being a marker of experience (which is horrific the second you think about why that would work, also adds impact to the first casualty we see since her hair was longer than our Firefly) means they are probably very reluctant to cut it.
