I doesnt feel good seeing Samsung release this phone only in Korea and Chine just a few months after releasing the fold 6, as the SE is what we wanted 😢

It gains a larger internal display but also acquires a black hole punch. I wish the next version would stick to an under-screen camera. Also, it would be great to have a set of quad speakers for left-right stereo in any orientation.

I'm a Samsung guy and have been waiting for Samsung to bring a device like this to the US. The regular z folds are too small for my taste. I currently have a Pixel 9 pro fold and Honor Magic V3. Is it worth selling both of them and getting this device?

I definitely think it's better than the Pixel 9 Pro Fold. But I have no experience with the Honor one. But I'm probably biased towards the Samsung anyway 😅

It's wild seeing how many people think this should have been the 6 ignoring all the pitfalls. -It still has a garbage battery trying to run even larger screens. -It's clearly dimmer than the regular six, probably to make up for the garbage battery. -inner hole punch is almost completely useless, the UDC is much more aesthetically pleasing for a camera that people almost never use. -S-Pen support obviously depends on the user, I rarely use it but when I do I really like the fact that it's available. I don't like losing functionality that we already have. Yes the bigger size and better camera should be implemented, I'd like better secondary cameras also. But we need much bigger batteries, bring back S-pen support and give me back the UDC. If anything they could try to upgrade it, look at how far ZTE has come with theirs.

Regular Fold7? It won't look like SE, as confirmed by Ross Young, only Fold7 SE will looks like current Fold SE. But I think they will launch it together with regular Fold7 (and maybe release it later).

The Chinese or the only manufacturers that are currently innovating in the foldable market, Samsung has pretty much given up but in saying that the XT is a very flimsy product and way to expense if but it shows what is possible.

Just got the W25 here in the US. All I can say is wow. The crease implementation is the best of any foldable and I've had almost every one. Love the device but kind of wondering if I should of gotten the Special Edition instead due to the Chinese rom. I have T-Mobile in the US and service seems really good. I get 5G but not ultra wideband

I definitely prefer the bigger size of this SE. As the Z folds cover so far was just too narrow for me personally. I really do hope SAMSUNG will move over to this display size in future Z folds i.e. Z fold 7

I'm excited about Fold 7/7 Ultra/7 SE, whatever we may get (could we get two different versions?) 1. Yes, Samsung still believes in the narrow format; you even proved their point - you said you didn't feel like opening it up as much as you do the Fold 6. Exactly Sammy's point; while most of us nerds prefer the wider display and ask for it, maybe they're onto something. 2. UDC - I wish they would remove it or keep it UDC. I hope Fold 7 won't have the actual cutout. It's not huge and I'm sure I'd get used to it, but I love the uninterrupted inside screen. 3. S Pen support - I'm torn; I really don't use it; I would be fine without it. Now, I'd love to see digitizer added to front display too; I'd probably use it more there; I miss the Note for that reason - quick notes without unlocking it... Great device for sure. I have nice expectations for the next one. We shall see...

The inner sceen has a lifespan for number of folds, so not opening it is good when you can avoid it.

samsung made one big mistake! should have released this version worldwide instead of the version now. it will probably sells lot more. sometimes just couldn't understand what samsung is thinking. now there the rumors is 25 series will use a older screen which has lot of issues instead of newer screen that pixel & iphone is using.

Samsung the apple of android . Just get a honor magic v3 way cheaper and still thinner. That actually feels like a standard smartphone and you get s pen support on all screens. The SE has removed all s pen function.

Its wayyyyyyyy better than the awfully narrow Z-Fold 6 / the SE is what the Z-Fold 6 should have been in size wise in fact I would like a bigger sized samsung foldable ie a S24 ultra X2 in outer display unfolded X2 S24 ultra screen size at last samsung has put the charger in the box where it belongs and let's hope they do this for the S25 ultra but let's hope samsung do this size for the Z-Fold 7 but with S-Pen support and a 5,000mah battery and use the snapdragon gen 8 elite chipset and put the charger in the box where it and at £2,000 and i would buy it
