As a child of the 80s, the Cali has been a dream guitar of mine since Dave and Grover came up with it. I'm thrilled to hear he's found another builder to take over now that Grover has moved on. One request, though, please make more Cali's in the Candy Green color. It is the perfect color for that guitar!

When Dave said: "Grover is no longer with us" with pause in his voice, I had to do a quick search to see if Grover died, gladly he is still alive.

Lacks stainless steel frets for sure

GEN Z’s would’ve hated playing guitar in the 80’s and 90’s since guitars didn’t have stainless steel frets until the early 2000’s, and the only high gain metal amps available at the time were Mesa Boogie and VHT (Fryette)…if you wanted to rock an amp modeler it was a Line 6 POD 🤣 So damn spoiled with the gear today.
