Idk why anyone would ever pick a humbucker over a P90

Sounds good, well played as always. However, I think the Heritage H-530 offers the same (some would say better) quality at a better price point.

Find an aged Les Paul Custom in Alpine White or save a couple grand and go with one of these? Tough decision.

I have a 65 330 and use it mostly for jazzy tones, occasionally for some classic jangle, and I love this thing. It surprises me that demos of the 330 so rarely show off it's jazz character. I like it better than a 175 because I think it has more modern sound with just a bit more bite, I suppose because of the p-90s. Absolutely one of best electric guitars ever.

To many bad over priced Gibsons for me....finish flaws... cracks.... bad fret work... poor quality and twice or more the price of much better guitars. All they have is the past....

I wish gibson would make an ES guitar in between the size of a 339 and a 335 cause the 335 is too big and the 339 is too close to the les paul size!

Great playing, great demo, great instrument. I own one of these from the last run in like 2019. It's a perfect guitar. It can be a rock machine, blues machine, jazz machine, funk machine, even a country machine. One thing to note though: unlike a 335 and any of the 335 clones, whose neck meets the body at the 19th fret, the 330 neck attaches at the 17th fret, so upper fret access is not as easy.

Good call out. I have an Epiphone Century inspired by 66 (basically a cheaper newer 125t) which I love but has no cutaway. I’d like a humbucker 335 style (would prefer totally hollow) but with it joining the body where it does, man the first 5 frets feel so far away. I can’t bond with one. Worth the trade off it being closer in? I like p90s anyways 😅 they cover most of everything I would play

@bobpedone61684 күн бұрын
I did buy one and really wanted to love this guitar. It is obviously a great guitar but mine was not. I really just think it was a lemon. I have been playing and collecting guitars for over 50 years and have probably owned close to 200 guitars over the years. I own epiphones that I love dearly, Gibsons, Fenders and many others. The Guitar was UNPLAYABLE out of the box. It came from a company that just moves the boxes, no inspection like that big sweet company in the mid-west. The frets were so scratchy you could hear the strings scraping across the frets as you played. It would not stay in tune for even 1 song,but with the cheap plastic saddles and nut its no wonder, and yes they ARE plastic even though they have another name for it. The biggest surprise was how aweful it sounded. Again, I think there was something wrong with it, the pickups moved around and shook back and fourth so much I had to shim them to stop them from moving around. Its a great looking guitar but my guitar was a total pile, I think the worst guitar I had ever bought and I have owned every brand made just about twice.dont know why they didnt put a quality nut ans bridge on it, hope you have better luck I pity the person who buys the one I sent back..

I see Mr page was familiar with the 'harlequine'' mirror in the sky, but he would be considering the company he was in. The applied 'psycholgy' in the docu that goes with it showed a picture of model type females dressed in mirror skiets for the sex angle. Sorry James, but this part of it is my job.
