I have legitimately never hear of him before now. He has a very nice technique and I love his tone. Satriani has done a lot of pieces using this tapping technique(Brother John, Day at the Beach, Teh Forgotten Part 1, etc...) but I just LOVE the way Sammy incorporates it into these larger melodic structures. SO GOOD.

Just discovered your work a few days ago (listened both Sunrise /Sunset and this Cloack of light) and wow ... the tapping sequences sound so fresh! love this nice clean melodies and also the shredding madness. I honestly can't believe the videos have so few views, you deserve more recognition. Me as well! I was a big fan of his work and couldn't believe he was filling in for Frankie. He owned it. Not sure how much time he had to prepare, but he did an incredible job playing all the material very close to how Frank would have played it. Awesome job by Sammy and I can't say enough how awesome that was. When I saw him with the opening band, I was thinking 'I wonder how long before he's playing in a national band' and then he comes out with Tesla 🔥🧨
