My father saw him in Germany. then some fire alarm sounded and everyone had to leave the room. Sammy stayed until the end singing and entertained the public in a way that everyone get out in a very calm and not stressfull way. He was amazed by Sammy calm and professionalism🎉. It could be this show. The year matches.

@IvanRaskino : Sammy always called his drummer ,Dixie, his nickname, I understand. But he has mentioned his given name many times , though I cannot recall. It would take listening to Sammy’s songs over again to listen for the name ; There must be commentation somewhere of what his name is, sorry ; if you find out please let me know too 🤗🤗⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️!!

I saw Sammy perform in Las Vegas, I believe at Bally’s or Caesar’s Palace, about 35 years ago. No one was ever better. Between Sammy, Frank and Dean, Sammy was definitely the best singer of the rat pack!!!!!

I have Always heard Mr. Davis call him “Dixie”, in videos I’ve seen. I have heard Mr. Davis mention his given name , but I have forgotten what it is. 🎶🎵🎶🎵🎶🎵🎵 . Check out ‘Night and Day’ by the Temptations, it is the best!!!!! But don’t get be wrong, Sammy was one of the greatest performers of our time. I saw him in Vegas performing in one of the showrooms. Awesome show…
