1985 went to Van Halen with my buddy and two girls we had just met earlier in the day, Sammy Hagar had just taken over as lead singer. We were at maximum gear head level, I had a '70 Challenger, 440 six-pack, 4-speed and my buddy had a 79 Mustang he has shoehorned in a 351 Cleveland (also a 4 speed). Anyway we didn't think we had a shot with these girls as they were both rockin' and we were us so we decided that if we don't think we are getting anywhere with them AND Sammy sings "I can't drive 55" (one of the greatest songs ever sung) as lead singer at a VAN HALEN concert we would top end the Mustang. 157 mph.
