30 year old here and seen him in concert almost 2 years ago when he came to Cherokee. Sammy is still the real f'n deal. No lipsyncing. Everything you see on stage is real. My ears were still fucked up a week after the concert.

The story is Sammy never got co writing credit for I Got The Fire. And he said he was still pissed about it. So originally this was sort of a 🖕to Ronnie Montrose. But Sammy said he felt guilty so he gave co writing credit on this song to Ronnie Montrose.

FUCK YEAH! Just watched the Howard Stern video interview and love this band already. I grew up a huge Zeppelin fan in the 70's, I saw Jason @ the Hershey Theater and was blown away, listened to Montrose & Hagars solo stuff back in the day and I always loved VH even though Dave can't focus to well on the songs when he's performing karate moves onstage. This all the best shit wrapped up in a killer package!

@@betornween What makes you think Mike isn't playing the bass for this band? There's a shot of Mike's hand playing on the fretboard of his instrument at around 54 seconds into the video. And in the album credits, he's the only one credited for playing the bass. If someone else in the band played the bass I'm very certain they'd be credited for it. Just because it doesn't show him playing a lot in the video doesn't mean he didn't play the bass in the studio.
