In the late 1960s Sammy Kaye tried to reinvent his sound he had sounded a lot like larwence welk guy Lombardo and Lester lanin commonly referred too as sweet bands Herp Albert had had tremendous success selling instrumental records with a kick to them Sammy Kaye recorded a version of Henry MANCINI'S song charade which became his last hit record around the time of this album
