Great video, I agree with everything you said. I believe it was more the Cubs organization than the fans that exiled Sammy. After the 1994 strike MLB was overjoyed to see the home runs bringing fans back to Baseball. They looked the other way, which almost encouraged the use of steroids. Then they threw the Players under the bus. Anyway… Sammy has nothing to apologize for let bygones be bygones, he will receive a standing ovation once he’s back. Baseball has had so many eras, the live ball era, dead ball era. Even the era when they lowered the pitching mound after the 1968 season. This was the steroid era, time passes… Time to let go of all this BS. .

Have the Cubs given back the money they made off him? At a game I went to in 1988 at Fenway, 30,000 people were chanting "steroids, steroids" at Canseco. He turned around and flexed his bicep. Everyone knew. The hypocrisy is astounding.

I watched the Sosa and McGuire documentary from not too long ago, Sosa said “why am I being singled out for using, something along the lines of that like I’m not the only one who did it why do I get all the blame. He’s right and I forgave him after that, he was so right. Really loved seeing him talk from his own words

I don't think the roid guys who were caught should not be in the HOF (A Rod) but it is 2024. It isn't a big deal that they were juiced. Times have changed. I wonder if it was something else besides steriods. Maybe he had a falling out with other legends?
