Sammy was one of the handful of bright spots in my childhood. I so greatly looked forward to every Friday night so I could watch him. Then, when I was approximately 16, I purchased my first drum kit from Mr. Carter at his Family Music Center. You could hear Sammy in Mr. Carter's wonderful laugh. He was just such a good, and beautiful man, I can't decide if I miss Bob Carter or Sammy Terry more.

OMG he scared me sooooo bad 😱 😨 but I was still glued to the TV 📺 every Friday night 🌙 with the lights off, cover over my head, and nightmares when I went to sleep 😴 💤 Awwwww, childhood fright night movie memories! Sammy Terry was the scariest & the BEST 💯 No one could top Bob Carter. You're surely missed 😔

Friday nights, sleepovers at my Grandma's house with some of my cousins. Popcorn, a soda, the lights out, and Sammy Terry. Perfect at 9 years old.

I always wondered who the girl in the intro was.

The intro from the early seventies was better,I watched Sammy for years and they always aired local commercials some in particular were Sam Wolf used cars and Bills unclaimed freight and thier was always some furniture store that was going out of business.

Not sure when this intro was done probably the late seventies or eighties, but I can remember others before it that were creepier.
