LOVED EVERYTHING ABOUT THIS VIDEO🤎 When it comes to the “professionalism” of locs, I see it like this > My locs protect me from places, people and situations I shouldn’t be in. If someone doesn’t want to be around me or hire me because of my locs, then it’s a blessing in disguise that’s telling me to move on to bigger and better things🎉< Thanks so much for sharing!🤎

This was my father he told me he went to a job interview and the person asked if he’d cut his hair in order to get the job. He said he told him he wouldn’t, got up, shook the man’s hand and told him “have a good day and good luck to your company” and left

@@briatucker4588 I applaud your father for doing that! I was slightly questioning why he didn’t stay to see what else would happen in the interview. But in all honesty, once a company / interviewer questions you about your hair, it tells you all that you need to know about that company. Meaning that they’re not necessarily checking for how qualified you are or your ability to actually do the job, which is unfortunate. Some people choose to stay but others know that their ability to do a good job doesn’t depend on their hair / looks and they move on to bigger and better opportunities. Thanks for your input🤎

Wow love this !!!!!!! Your entire video!!!! I have heard most of not all of these myths about locs I’m gonna start my loc journey this weekend ❤️🥳🥳, I’m gonna start with two strand twist and I’m gonna let my friend do the initial twists because I want the triangle parts and then I’ll eventually do the resists my self✊🏾. I love locs I currently have loose martial hair to my nose and the entire reason of me growing my hair was to get locs but I took some time to decide the size of my locs and thickness as well . But yea I love your locs and what method did you use to start your loc journey ?

Nah sis, me myself and I was the only one on this loc journey💁🏾‍♂️ what I found easy to know when to maintain is watch the scalp and the urge to scratch. Winter is MURDER on me 😫😫😫 will settle for braids for a while until I figure something else out. And being a truck driver I go through weather changes all the time iugghhhhhhh. Right now I'm in New York. In a couple days I'll be in Florida. Its 18° rn🥶

I love that you’ve taken full ownership of your journey, these are the vibes 💯. Switching climates definitely forces you to adjust😓 but the fact that you’re being mindful regardless is perfect. At some point I’ll do a video about scalp health etc.💆🏽‍♀️

I just started my loc journey on February 28th, I am 2 months and a week locked with interlock. I wish I heard you before I began the journey, because I was number 1/11 lol. I locked my son’s hair and a friend’s hair, but I guess I was too temperamental or the timing was not right. I am 61 with super curly hair which began thinning. It’s been natural since 2011. When I turned 61 I was going to shave it off but couldn’t bring myself to shave it off so I tried interlock and I am glad I did. My hair is beautiful I love it and your hair is beautiful also. I enjoyed your show thank you and keep glowing....
