I have a great tip for yall i saw somewhere. And you should definitely try it. Double your sensitivity +- a bit to make it feel right. Make the ads speeds 50%, and turn aim acceleration off. The game is far more snappy feeling and doesnt feel sluggish this way if you're on controller. Currently im using 77/77, and i normally ran 6-7 on cods. It feels so much more fluid and snappy. Because that ramp effect, feels like trash and like you cant move properly with aim acceleration on. Give it a try, worst that could happen is you dont like it.

BEST tip I can give ANY controller player on this game, after having issues with my aim since launch: Lower the aim assist strength. Aim assist is strong in this game, much stronger than most people think. Start at -5 and gradually move towards either -10 or 1 until you find a sweet spot. I set mine to -3, and it feels much more natural now. It takes a bit of practice to get used to, but it's 100% worth it.

🎮Tip: 1. Shoot first, then ADS (Close range), There is a lot of sprint to shoot delay. Connect to bullets with hip fire and ADS and kill. Give laser attachment a try on MP5 to counter MP7 player B-hopping around the map. 2. You have to play with the FOV setting on your own in shooting range, as there is no setting like "Focal Length Sensitivity Scaling" (The Finals), where it keeps your sensitivity same regardless of the FOV. At least spend 30 Min in range. The Higher the FOV the slower the sensitivity feels. same is the other way around. You can play 60 60 on 120 FOV but not on 90 FOV. 3. Don't play with lazy aim. Even if you have aim assist try to keep up with the target. Practice w/ aim assist off in firing range. 4. MAINTAIN DISTANCE WITH ENEMY || AVOID 2v1ing gun fights || KEEP CALM 😊

TBH for KB&M all you need is a stable and fast internet connection to be good. I am using 2mbps internet with 100+ ping so i lose gunfights i can actually win plus the bad hit detection that's why i am playing less for now. but all you need is to practice aiming and movement in training area and you'll be No1 in no time

KB&M players once again get no love lol. Not like I'm genuinely looking for accuracy videos, but these are still good tips. Prefer KB&M but have played the game on controller a few times. For anybody else who are playing on KB&M: 1) Get rid of that office job mouse pad. It's great for working in Excel but not big enough for a FPS 2) Regardless of your mouse DPI setting... a good starting point is when you can swipe from the far left to the far right of your mouse pad and do one 360 spin. Adjust up and down to preference from there.

1 and 2 are dependent on what type of aim the person has. If cm/360 is lower than 24 cm/360, then a larger mouse pad won’t be necessary. If a person has a larger cm/360, possibly above 30 cm/360, then a larger mouse pad would be good. Larger than that, like 40s, 50s, 60s, etc, a larger mouse pad won’t matter. I have a sensitivity of 42.7 cm/360, and I can’t do a full 360 with one swipe. I just do many mini swipes in rapid succession in order to do a full 360. This tactic can be done for lower cm/360s, with many mini swipes in order to compensate for a smaller mouse pad. Edit: Also, dpi is kinda important, since this will help people to adjust what type of sensitivity they want. The sensitivity system in xdefiant is scuffed.

aim assist is so strong in this game it makes recoil control on controller so easy. This game is fucking pointless on mouse and keyboard and using a controller on mouse and keyboard is still so bugged.

playing on controller is sucha meme, entire thing is about figuring out how to take best advantage of the built in aimbot. literally just aimbot gameplay, 50% skill, 50% game playing itself for you. makes no sense why people play shooter on an input device that is so bad it needs to be bundled with a cheat
