What a beautiful little rod setup. I have an estuary setup that's 7ft ultra light with a casting weight of 4g - 14g with a little 3000 stradic. That has fast become my fave stick, I now find myself on the beach and/or rocks catching elf with it too and I have to say, a decent 2kilo elf on 6lb line is the real deal and loads of fun. Was going to head down to the coast for red tail surf perch today. Then I checked the marine forecast and drank beer instead. 7ft swell and a 30knt wind said no. Can fish vicariously through you this weekend I guess. Those worms are horrifying. Glad I can just pick sand crabs. Way less horrifying. Being Oz, I'm sorta surprised they don't bite. lol
