When i was growing up i always felt the spirit every Sunday in Samoa as Sundays were a day for Families, a day of Worship, a day of Feast and a day of Rest, and shops were closed constructions were put to a holt, and Umu were prepared early before sunrise, etc. Obviously Hospitals, Fire Stations and Airport were open for Health and Safety reasons. Samoa was different then, but I guess Samoa is trying to keep up in the world which is good, but then again Samoa is not like other countries where there is a need to work on Sundays to survive, because no one will starve or lose their homes if they don't work on that day.. Fa'avae ile Atua Samoa. Tele Alofa ma Fa'aaloalo.

It’s sad to see that that’s what Samoa moni got out of this. It’s amazing how Samoans will fight with one another about these matters but never do it to the papalagi that comes and walks all over us takeing from us and abusing the love we give. No respect from the outside foreigners I think to understand is to learn get educated because that’s how the abuse all starts it starts small and slow and it grows like a cancer. Actually sunday is not a true Sabbath. Study the bible. Sunday is the 1st day of the week. And if you know anything about history Saturday is the true sabbath day BUT was changed to Sunday by roman catholic. It's a sun worshipper. History goes in hand w/the bible.

If it’s not written in the law or part of the village laws then they can’t do anything about it. They gotta also remember that seventh day advantist keep Saturday holy and work on Sunday. So this lady’s complaint have no feet to stand on. We’re not living in the 1800s or early 1900s no more. We gotta move with the times. Like I said no law no complaint. One thing we must also remember is those work that they’re doing may it be construction or cleaning the yard it’s only temporary once it’s completed then there won’t be anymore noise. Appreciate you mentioning SDA however that matter is changing too. The current Sabbath day for SDA (conf/missionary) is observed on Sunday. Whereas other SDA churches (e.g. Independence) observe their Sabbath on a Saturday. Just an add on lol. Alofa atu God bless
