I installed this today. My advice is to install the hose on to the bidet first, then the other hoses, then test for leaks, then mount it onto the seat. It was hard to get the hose on backwards, and I almost cross threaded it.
@Jay_Rule Жыл бұрын
The trickiest is installing the tvalve onto the toilet bowl connection because it has to be on straight and there is a chance of stripping the threads if too much force is used.

@@luadiva Wait so did you buy a new bidet or just the new attachment? When it comes to plastic parts and plumbing, you can't use excessive force because it can break the part or strip the threads.
@metrork1 Жыл бұрын
The trick is to make sure there is a rubber washer in the T that attaches to the toilet tank. Second, you must make very sure you no not cross thread. There is no need to use excessive force when tightening plastic parts. If there is a leak at the tank don't assume it is coming from the T. That which the T is being attached to may require tightening as it was in my case. I found no need to use plumbers tape to due to the rubber washers making the seal. Mine, no leak in leaving out the plumbers tape.

I’m a big guy also and it’s great. Only recomendación would be to install the T prior to the flat part with the controls. I didn’t have much clearance between the controls and my wall so it made it extremely difficult to Teflon tape the bottom nozzle and install.

@@hectorrojas8019 This is a simple cold water bidet. There is no electronic feature that will blow dry your privates. They do sell those options but the installation is much more involved. With this simple bidet, you will still need to use toilet paper to wipe your behind dry. You will discover using less TP because the water helps spray away the poop residue.

often when people extol the advantages of bidets (not referring to this uploader) they simply reveal they never knew how to wipe their behinds with tp in the first place lol, however I'm still curious about trying this one out since it's relatively inexpensive. My expectation is that even if it helps you will still need to use tp to FULLY clean your behind since I don't think the squirt is going to reach too much "up yours" to wash it all out so from the get go it already feels like a fruitless pursuit.
