Just finished the game as well and I have to say the story line is great. I can't for them to get everything fixed in a few months so I can do another play through that has proper Ai or is optimized for lower end PC because I struggled to keep 30 fps at some of the big fire fights lol

Got hard locked 50h into the game. Can't get to Pripyat. Have to start a new game. So I used my knowledge and have a Saiga 12 & PSZ-12V while just having arrived at Garbage in the MQ. Bloodsuckers feel a lot more balances when you smash them with 8 12x70 in 1 second.

I had the same bug with Zalissya and completed the side quest inside. Left the village to do main mission and came back and all NPC died. Rip

You have to use console commands and try few times to scripts work, kill enemies inside townhall by command, talk to npc, get mission, help them, then sleep inside and enemies will attack again after that. Kill them and npc will tell that you defended village. Then few more teleport command to hear that in radio too, back to npc talk to him so he can tell you how much he apreciate help. Then you can move on in campain. It took mi few hours of reading reddit and trying different things. Also scienitist bunker was locked for me and had to talk with him to close quest, and only ghost mode helped. But sadly few hours later had problem when closed game that all mine saves became corrupted due to override via yesterday session from xbox. Damn, that game is so buggy. First half is okey but secont is just bug party. For me 7/10 for first half, and 1/10 for second and that is solid 4/10 for today technical state mostly. Unplayable but immersive.

biggest problems I've been running into are the memory leaks. I've messed with settings for the game and my pc a fair bit (I'm basically playing it on potato-settings with a mid-high end pc). and this _did_ help things. it's mostly, sort of, manageable at this point. but after playing for an hour or two, especially (though not exclusively) around towns, my framerate will eventually just die until I restart the game. other than that, yeah A-life needs to be fixed, and _a lot_ of stuff needs balancing, but the basic framework of the game is solid and quite a lot of fun in spite of its issues.

Focusing on the main story really feels like a different game. Im 32 hours in, ive only completed about 9 main missions. But while exploring and doing side stuffs, its almost made me want to put the game down. Last night i was stuck in the Army Warehouses for 1.5 hours, the game just kept spawning bloodsuckers. No shit 10-12 blood suckers and around 60 dead NPCs.

There is no such thing as a bug in the game, its an anomaly. Npc glitching into a wall? Anomaly. Npc floating? Anomaly. Computer crashes? Your pc couldent handle the anomalous emmisiom from the zone

Is there a way of knowing what flavour of ammo you have chambered? It doesn't seem obvious at all whether you have AP ammo or whatever loaded.

I think the world looks incredible but the npcs are pretty bad. The bloodsuckers are a nightmare, and or ammo needs to be cheaper more accessible but having said that i know when i bump into one ive a 10% chance to survive and i do like that so maybe keep it the same but not as frequent.

Lmao get good. The only tanky enemy is the bloodsucker chimera and wizard. Everything else is a piece of cake unless you suck at aiming.

If you have have intel cpu I recommend going to in bios and turn off intel turbo boosting. And the other two options that are on the page turbo boosting is on.

Its rather a Stalker GAMMA 2 rather then Stalker 2, enhanced weight punishing system, extra wear and tear and not being able to sell any weapon/armor. Streamers and YT'ers should influense games less. The Exosuits are not like in Stalker 1 but more into punishing you by being so heavy. I want the Stalker 1 feel and that is down the drain for this game unless i mod the game.

@ well alright man but I did that with SoC back in the day and ruined the magic, stole it right from under myself. Didn’t even know what was happening and then the roof fell on me and the game was over. Huge regret on my part

No it reloads a last save so make sure you have a save before “the point of no return” (youll get a message pop up on screen)

I applaud you for being able to power through the game with A-Life being absent, I'll be waiting a good long while before playing it any more, it's just not fun to clear a hostile area for enemies to then just respawn 20ft away 2 seconds later. Hopefully soon they'll add A-Life that works, binoculars, NVG, better loot, a better economy, and fix the gun damage. Absolutely nothing happens 100m+ from the player and it makes the whole experience lifeless compared to the other games. Honestly wondering who if anyone play-tested the game.

@@samosh I’m guessing a life implemented like the old games (like CoP) would be too intensive for the Xbox so they had to disable it. Hopefully they can further optimize it so they can reintegrate it but I’m not really too worried, modders will get it done if the devs don’t.

The FPS on performance mode are still terrible. Definitely jagged when turning left or right. I did a hard reset on series x, and still the same. It seems like 30 FPS when on performance mode. It’s horrible and unplayable
