FREERIDE SHREDDING ON MY TRIAL MOTORBIKE - GASGAS 300

Freeride shredding on my trial motorbike - GasGas 300 is back out for a ride! After a long break I ride my GasGas trial bike and shred the local trial training bikepark with technical climbs and sections, would you ride this machine?
Motorcycle trials is such a great sport because its a mix of both MTB and motocross in one fun package. The bike is of course made to be lightweight so generally a mountain bike rider can jump on and have quite good control instantly as long as you know how to ride a clutch. I head out to poles wood which is a dedicated moto trial training spot in Essex which has a number of different features including jumps, drops and trial sections such as big logs and concrete blocks. After having a sick time we then witch up the activity completely and get out on my skateboard for a fun send it session around the local skatepark, what do you think about 4 wheels?

Honestly, I feel the majority of skate boarding isn't as dangerous as biking. I never really got badly hurt skating, but on my MTB I landed with helmet on off a jump and got a severe concussion, femoral bruising and ofcourse a broken nose. Definitely wasn't the best experience. Haha but I do love biking and I don't really skate anymore, if that says something. Lol

Thanks for this Sam. Again, we love you. I only hope I was as fun to shred with in my prime as you are. Watching this vid reminded me of a few months ago when I started skateboarding again. I'd been skateboarding for well over 30 years when my last board was stolen from my car a few years ago. I never replaced it, and life went on. I thought I'd retired. I'd moved on, or, at least back to cycling. For full disclosure, my cycling looked much different from your caliber of riding, I'm a roadie, funny shoes and bike shorts. You get the picture. However, not too long ago, my buddies, mostly several years my junior, built an indoor mini ramp. So, I was compelled to buy a skateboard again. My first session was spooky, but encouraging. The young guys there knew I used to be a big deal on a skateboard, but I wasn't sure I could deliver. After a few sessions I got my legs back and found I could impress the young guys with my long list of long forgotten tricks. I could do stuff that they wouldn't even try. But the opposite also applied. Haha. Im skating for all the right reasons again, to satisfy my brain. That's what skateboarding always did for me. I had no idea, till end of vid, that you were a woodfooter too. It all makes sense now. God bless you Sam Pilgrim. Today is gonna be "epic".

I am just learning trials and someone told me to tilt the bars forward a bit. My bars were the same position as yours, which look slightly back of center. I am trying it but suck too much to notice as its so new. The guy is awesome a former French champion.
