This plugin is fire and a game changer. I worked with a recording studio a few years ago. They kept my original recording masters. I received mixed-down masters of the audio. I used a free stem creator and dropped the stems in Samplab and was able to recreate and recover the separate individual tracks in midi form. I have recreated the music and made them even better.

This is an amazing VST and service. I registered for the premium service and I have started decoding the midi from the audio sketches which I have made over the last three decades. The results are stunningly successful . What’s interesting is the midi output has really accurate velocity data..how the hell does that happen. Super review and thanks 🙏🙏🏿👍🎩✨🎵

There's already a way to do this within FL Studio using Edison. It's not perfect some audio files for some reason don't go through the so I'll give this a try.

You definitely should have shown that you can actually change the notes of the sample when you drag the midi on to the samplab channel. I think that's the coolest feature the plugin offers!

Um I've gat a question can I use it to convert drum kits to midi and if I can can I just convert the whole sample at once to midi rather than doing it one by one, and does it save the midi format or I have to redo it Everytime I want to use the sample I'd appreciate a reply Thanks.

I guess I don't understabd... so it takes a midi file and then... turns itnintp another midi file? Or does it take an audio file? I don't understand if it's the first case (then again I don't ever use anyone's pre written midi melodies... and I don't have an issue knowing what key, root note, or chord progression in a song. I highly recommend learning some theory and ear training.) I want this to be promising but I'm gonna need to watch another video

The plugin allows you to send it a sample and with "mathematical magic", attempts to make a MIDI note string to mimic the sample to the best of it ability. You can then use those midi notes in any instrument to get an approximation of that sound in any instrument. Looks like it also comes with examples of melodies and midi notes made from them, so you can compare how close it got to recreating it. I'm a hobbyist with next to no traditional music skills, so this sounds like the exact thing i need to make remix that i have in my head. Definitely, gonna get this free plugin.

Adding to what Capt B said - in my case drums is my main, keyboards second and very little guitar/bass so if I was to sing, whistle, hum a new idea (very often a lot of my compositions start with the main melody or bass) into this thing then it would convert my hummings (lol, is there such a word ) into MIDI notes which can then be played back through say a bass guitar VST or MIDI instrument of choice. Where software like this REALLY scores (pun intended) is that if you suddenly get inspiration, you can get the idea down quickly and CAPTURE the moment before you lose it fiddling around with other stuff like chord placement, song structure, etc - I've lost count of the times I've had an idea but trying to get it down into a DAW somehow "loses" the moment - HTH

Basic pitch from spotify do the same but they have more controls to adjust pitch and you don't have to install anything and it is even faster. Also basic pitch is completely free and not subscription ponzi scheme.

This is just embarrassingly easy...we should all be millionaires by now🤣.Think, get 6 bar midi, put into ez bass to get a bass track, put midi into ez keys for piano or chord track, put midi into scaler for chords,bass,ect...and use drum mon....oops,I mean get sumnsummns drum kits...and "it's perfect"😛🤣

Both the plugin and the app does not have a midi output for some reason. No piano roll notes whatsoever. It's like it was never there. For that alone this plugin is crap.
