So, don't laugh, but I am most proud of my Lizzie Kate autumn smalls pillows. I have returned to stitching after 30+ years away from it. I'm an avid crocheter, yet this January, I picked up stitching again. I'm super proud of my lil' pillow finishes because not only did they turn out well, but I didn't screw up the sewing machine part. :) Thanks for sharing your time, talent, and resources.

I have to admit that I've been sucked into Sampler September and it is a good and exciting thing! Thank you for enabling me lol! I haven't stitched a sampler yet but I would like to do so now. The stitching project I am most proud of would be the Christmas stocking I made for my 3 kids. They were my first stitchy projects and I FFO'd them FINALLY in time for last Christmas. And it opened a can of worms and I haven't stopped stitching all the things!

I've stitched alot of designs in my time, but I'm most proud of the piece I am working on now. My mother had started a Prairie Schooler snowman design quite awhile ago. I recently found it and decided that I was going to finish it for her-she passed away in 2012, So, I started it this morning, and I feel like her spirit is here with me while I am stitching. She would be so happy that the piece will be done and I will put her initials and mine on it when I'm finished. She had a cross stitch shop for over 25 years and loved everything cross stitch. Have a great trip to Galeria and be safe. Good to meet Graham-yall look so much alike! Happy Stitching! Pam Miller

Omg the book is fabulous! The cross stitch I am most proud of is a Norman Rockwell of the old woman and old man having tea in front of the fireplace. I was working on that when pregnant with my daughter. She turned 34 two days ago. 😍

The pieces I am proud of is 85 out of 100+ Sandra Cozzolino santas being stitched. She is the designer currently for Mill Hill (does 3 new santas each year). She has designed for multiple companies prior to Mill Hill. I am proud of the number done, and will be the most proud when I get all up to date and current with all of her santas. I plan on filling a tree with her santas! Thanks for the video, and this opportunity.

I just love your channel and all your words of wisdom about samplers! My mom stitched a reproduction of The Chase sampler in the 70’s (remember stamped cross stitch?) It is framed and hanging in her house. It’s gorgeous! It is the MOST important thing In her house I want her to pass onto me someday. I remember as a child watching her stitch it in front of the T.V. for many hours. I am very proud of HER for stitching that! As far as myself, I have just gotten back into stitching so really just have WIPS, but many years ago, I did finish a beautiful little cross stitch of different shoes for my MIL (she loves shoes) with beading, kreinik, etc. It hangs in her guest bathroom and whenever I see it, I want it back! 😜

Great video. I am most proud of the 4 Just Cross Stitch magazine stockings from the 1980’s that I made for the whole family. Since 1982, it’s always been a tradition to “stuff” the stocking with candy and lots of goodies the boys like and to this day we always open our stockings first on Christmas Day.

I am most proud that for my Dad's 70th birthday, I stitched our family Coat of Arms. It took me a long time because I am a slow stitcher. Dad loved it and when he passed away, I gave it to my brother for his home. It was (and is) the biggest piece I have ever stitched. I did a happy dance when the shield met. Also, when you went to get the sampler I half expected Zero to get up and dance. Michelle

Enjoying sampler September stitching vicariously. Some day I will get to one myself. I think the stitching I'm most proud of was one called the Fireman's Prayer. I started it for my son right after he graduated high school and was a volunteer fireman. It languished for years. Many years later, I FFOd and totally surprised him at Christmas, the only time he was speechless.

Hi! HOLY CRAP GRAHAM LOOKS LIKE YOU! I think that is awesome, as I have one child, and she looks JUST LIKE HER DAD!😳😳🙄😎. She does, however, have my loud laugh and my always happy sense of humor, so I am proud of that! My favorite Sampler was one I finished in 1991. I stitched it while working on charter yachts in the British Virgin Islands, so I look at it and can feel where I was....I stitched it for my “2nd Mom” Violet, whom I ADORED. It hung in her kitchen, and when she died her daughter gave it back to me. My daughter’s middle name is Violet. Now it’s in my kitchen.💖. I look forward to hearing ALL about Galleria, and it is now a Bucket List place for me some day!

What an awesome young man with such a great personality & really sweet way about him, just like his Mom! (You two really do look alike too!) My proudest Needlework piece is a beaded floral tapestry I made in 7th grade. The tapestry is French and I beaded the project under Sr. Maria (she was a Belgian ICM nun) who was in charge of our sewing class. We made a lot of wonderful projects under her. A couple of years ago my Mom gave it back to me and I had it reframed. The framer was very careful as she said it looked like an antique. Thanks for your continuing sampler lesson.

Another great video Teresa! I had to laugh, I was watching it when my husband walked in and I paused it to talk to him and he said “is that the singing lady?” I laughed and “yes, see, you even know her by voice now” 🥰. The piece I am most proud of is my daughters birth Sampler, it was a Sampler by The Historical Sampler Company from a magazine that had different flower names stitched down the sides of the border and the top and bottom of the border said All Things Grow With Love. The moment I saw it I knew I wanted to change it into my daughters birth Sampler. I changed the side borders to her name on one side and her date and time of birth and her birth weight and length on the other side. It was like it was meant to be as they all fit perfectly. Have fun at Galleria x

I have a tree skirt I made in 1995. I would work during my dinner break at work. It's not a fancy kit or anything but it was the first thing I stitched after I got married and was halfway ready by our first Christmas. I bring it out every Christmas. One year I took care of a friend's cat for a month while she was visiting family during Christmas. My daughter was about two and my guess is the cat was not very happy with having a two year old trying to love on her because one morning I found a hair ball or who know what it was on the middle of my stitched work. I was horrified. Luckily I had used dmc and regular Aida and everything washed off no damage. I'm very proud of it and it brings many memories of Christmas past. Maggie the cat passed away many years ago and sadly my friend past away two weeks ago. My friend sat with me every dinner break at work while I stitched.

I have a Paula Vaughn pattern stitched back in time in 1980. It’s a quilt on a wooden rack with country things on the shelf part. It’s hanging on the wall. Of course the cats want petting and are in your face all the time. It's a full moon on Friday! They do tend to go a little squirrely around full moon time. LOLOL I am proudest of a piece I'm working on right now. It's called Tiramisu from Glendon Place. I've done all kinds of smaller, less intricate pieces. But this one calls for some concentration and definitely accuracy. You can't fudge any booboos on this one. Yes, it's going to take a place of honor in my home alongside Grasshopper Pie, also from Glendon Place, when I get around to doing that one. What a sweet young man your son is! You are so lucky to have family that takes an interest in what you do and involve themselves. Have a wonderful time at Galleria! Hugs from Canada!!

It was nice to meet Graham. If you were on Maury you definitely could not claim he wasn't yours :P I think it's wonderful that your family has been such a strong support of your needlework business! I would not have continued with my art all these years if it wasn't for my #1 fan, my mom. I think I am most proud of is my very first sampler "My Funny Valentine" by Heartstrings Samplery that I changed all the colors to DMC variegated colors. It's one of the first pieces I showed on my flosstube and I worked on it everyday for 1 full month. I have it hung in my room right by my bed and woke up admiring it each day. I think because I put so much time and effort into that's why I love it so much.

My most proud stitching project is Brooke’s Books Snow White dress. I know it isn’t a family heirloom but it was my first project using kreinik and other fibers. It is beautiful. Good luck at Galleria! Hope you come home with an empty van but a full heart and pockets full of profits!

Safe travels to Galleria! Looking forward to seeing your clips from the show. I stitched Lavender and Lace's Santa of the Forest 25+ years ago. It was my biggest project at the time and I have it nicely framed and still enjoy it.

I am always amazed at how much I learn about samplers from you. I didn't even know what they were until watching your videos. Thank you for sharing your knowledge! One of the stitches that I still love after many years is Voice of the Shepherd by Told in a Garden. I had it framed with an oval double mat. It is so pretty. Thank you, Teresa!

Thanks, Theresa, for another great video!! So far, my favorite sampler is the first one I stitched, Folk Art Sampler, from Imaginating; stitched it all in red floss. Hope you and Graham have a wonderful trip to St. Charles! Take care and see you when you return!!!

Hello, Theresa! What a treat to 'meet' your son Graham. Handsome guy! I wish I was coming to St. Charles this year. I would love to help out in the booth. Maybe next year. I know you will have a successful time. Praying for your health to hold through it . I used to love to play store as well :) . I am loving Sampler September, Still working on Ann Dale. ALso Sarah Braizear from Hands Across the Sea samplers -- 2 really BIG ones. The work I am most proud of is Evening in the Park by Chatelaine. I LOVE! looking at it every day on the wall, Seeing it sparkle and seeing all the specialty stitches. I am so glad you encouraged people to do what they love and not think about whether they can do it. When I first started cross stitching, I started--- and stopped-- a couple of 'beginner ' kits on aida. Didn't love it. The first one I did was a full size Mirabilia on linen! I loved it. Fortunately , no one told me I couldn't and so I did! Never looked back. Thanks for all you do.

My sampler that I am most proud of - at least right now - is my James Wilson reproduction sampler. It is finished and framed and so cool! Yes, Graham does look a lot like you. And such an adult now! I remember the days when you would talk about "the boys"! But I love that they are still so interested in helping you with your business. That's not always the case, especially in needlework, even with daughters, but having your sons stay so involved is precious. I hope one of these years to be able to come to Galleria. Next year I hope to have 2 special trips so making it Galleria as well will again be iffy-but I can make it, I will. Good luck and I look forward to the updates!

Oh you are going to have so much fun!!! I wish I lived closer, and or the galleria was closer. I would volunteer to help for stash. This brings back memories of my mom every year at Christmas she would do a booth at the annual Christmas Craft Show. I would help her set up and run her booth of hand items she stitched and made during the year. When my son was small she would set up a little spot for him to sit at and help. My mom was known as “Mrs. Strawberry “ . She always included somehow a strawberry sticker or piece of strawberry candy with each purchase. The story behind strawberries was that she grew strawberries on the dairy farm to help make money to go to college. She graduated from Penn State with her teaching credentials. I think you will be successful at this show, and I like the banner. Very nice touch. I am also working on the same sampler as you but started in a different spot. I love the border and bee hive which is why I picked it to do. Theresa, thank you for making videos, having a web site, and just being you. It has made me fall in love with Samplers again! Good luck at the galleria! 🎉🎊😊🙋🏼 bye from Northern California!

I came back to cross stitch last year after a 30 year hiatus. My most special piece so far is the Love Story Wedding Record by Ursula Michael which I gave my niece and her husband in April. They hung it up immediately and it’s beautiful. Thank you for a great video.

What another great video! Loved hearing all the info on samplers and sometime I will add to your questions, since I have an OLD sampler given to me by a dear friend. I am very proud of a couple large Shepherd’s Bush pieces, the Toy Gatherer and The Wool Gatherer. I stitched them over several years when my boys were growing up and time was scarce. They bring back lots of memories of that time in our lives and that makes them pretty special to me. That was also before I had discovered all the beautiful samplers available now, so I know I will have many more to be proud of in the future! Thanks again for your videos. I look forward to them.😻

I did an old fashioned Santa about 20 years ago that I am most proud of and still love. My 40 year old daughter has always loved it as well so I gave it to her for her home. May as well let her enjoy it for years and not wait to inherit it. 😀. I really want to try a sampler so if I am chosen that is what I will pick from your website. Love your videos so much!

I am loving Sampler September! It challenged me to start a sampler that I had been anxious to start due to my level of experience. So it is my favorite piece because it brings me joy to stitch each stitch. It will take some time ... but it's the journey not the destination. Thanks so much for your wonderful videos that inspire and educate. I hope you have a great experience at Galleria!

I started a Sunflower cross stitch pattern from a magazine in 1998 and did about 90% of it. I then stopped stitching and only started again in May 2019 when I finished it. I felt really good about it and haven't stopped stitching since!

I am most proud of finishing the Beatrix Potter Quaker Sampler, a Needleprints reproduction. It's on 30 ct French Vanilla linen from R&R with Crescent Colours "Bejeweled" with accents of Gentle Arts "French Vanilla." I started it on 5 Feb 2007 and finished on 8 Nov 2007. It was a SAL with a Yahoo stitching group. Yep, I'm that old! I adore Quakers and monochromatic designs. It's just heavenly to thread up 20 needles and stitch. Thanks for all the info you share.

I love your new banner and I wish I was going to Galleria. I hope you feel well soon. I enjoyed this video very much. My favorite stitchery is the cross stitch blankets I made for my babies and they are now in their 30’s. Yes, I saved them and my grandchildren have used. Have a wonderful trip!❤️ Diana * I want a t-shirt😜
