Enjoyed your channel! Look forward to your next episode. Your stitching is beautiful! My hometown is Rhinebeck, I lest when I was 11, my Dad transferred, and that is how I ended up in Florida, with short stops in Alabama and Virginia. I've been trying to teach myself to knit, although my Mom did show me basic when I was a child, its d!ow. Do far I've made a dish cloth. I spend the majority of my time stitching. I retired in 2015 after 42 years, so I am enjoying my retire moment. Will look for your next episode.

Sharon, that was lovely. I'm a cross-stitcher too as well as a knitter. I have over the years designed my own samplers as gifts for special occasions (retirement, wedding, etc) and I have a wealth of books from which I took my inspiration. Hello from Louisiana, Sharon! I was absolutely delighted with your first video, which showed up in my feed today. Your personality and spirit are so engaging and attractive. I really enjoyed all the projects you showed, especially the MFE piece where you chose your own gorgeous colors, as well as Coming to America...just stunning. And the wedding sampler! Wow, what a beautiful heirloom piece that will be for them! I am very much looking forward to your tutorials about floss drops and how to use them, and how you change colors on a pattern. You really do have a great “eye” for color. I bet your dyed yarns are spectacular. I’ve tried several times to teach myself to knit, but just can’t get beyond the first row. Same with crochet...both my mother and my sister were very skilled at crochet, especially using the very fine threads, as well as embroidery...but I am excited if I can make a chain and single crochet correctly! 😂 I do enjoy embroidery, however, and some needlepoint. Thank you for sharing your time and talent with us...I’m really looking forward to your future videos! 🧵 Meline

Ha! My enabling work is done! 🤣 The DMC colors that I am using are 300, 303, 680 and 730. I used Dinky dyes silk thread in the "Ironbark" color which is a good match for DMC 300 for the animal motif. I had just enough of it though! Enjoy the stitch!

Your stitching is beautiful. It will be exciting to see your work as your progress and complete projects. You totally have given me the stitching itch again. Plus I purchased Christmas Town and a small sampler for an ornament. Did you know they carry different charts in their Etsy store from their main website? I have finished a canvas needlework that has 3 hearts on it. It was a class from a stitching retreat in the 90s. I made modifications to complete it. Thinking about turning it into a panel on a project bag. Now my concentration is on a chess board that is about 3/4s complete. It will be hard to focus on stitching now that I have received my order from you - the Tiki Room is begging to be knit into a tshirt. xx

Just like in the knitting world, there are no "rules" about showing charts. But it is considered bad form to show an image of a charted pattern. So, out of respect for designers I am careful not to flash charts! Thanks for watching!
