Sam blasting around Port Gawler in his Honda GX200 powered kart
Sam got his best lap time ever at 37.91 and top speed of 95 KPH.
after a few mods and a tune the GX200 managed 8300 rpm

Gregory, Sam was getting 98 KPH @ 8250 rpm. The engine was keeping the two stroke engines honest and was faster down the straight too 😎

Ratkill9000 to do the speeds you want a mild tuned GX200 would be fine and cost very little to do. Sam had lots of fun with this engine and most days would do 100+ laps on 5 litres of fuel. Sam is now racing so we've had to buy a Parilla reedjet 100 , it's faster but 4 times more expensive 😬

This motor is now for sale, great motor but can't use for racing here in Australia 😕 have to use a noisy smelly two stroke 😳

So nearly 60mph with that thing. I'd be content doing about 30-40mph or 48-64kph. Kind of dumb they make you use old school 2 cycle/stroke engines instead of 4 stroke engines. I know 2 stroke engines can make serious power and speed but constantly having to mix oil with fuel, rather just be straight separate. Looks like fun though, too bad I like the balls to go that extreme.
