Hey Mike. If you like old trucking videos of 2 stick trucks. Lindsey Crawford had a series of videos out. They were VHS,but now their on KZbin. Especially a W71 Mack.Lindsey is in the passenger seat like your self in that LTL. The W71 was the cab over version of the LTL. Both extremely rare west coast trucks. I left Berubies shortly after the drawings started. For the little time I was in the sun,I was cooked.

I can not even explain to you how much my life has changed since I began viewing this channel. Out of the hospital again and without a job. I find myself still visualizing running the roads I grew up driving,,, weighing 100 thousand pounds. I'm currently in a step-down program, and I think I will commit all my time to NETTTS as I tried before working full time at Ryder. I used to be a pot head but now I see staying sober and taking my prescribed medication as the only way of becoming a married man with children and with the day job of a king, spooling that turbo just right while progressively shifting that 18 speed. Tell Ben Senter I can smell His exhaust a mile up the road, and I can only dream of one day working for a man like him. I see myself being with a company where I can take pride in maintaining the fleet and hopefully get myself in the seat. I can drive my Blue Honda faster than anybody on the streets, and only God has kept my front and rear tires on the road. Knowing now, I wanted to end my life like the men who raced supercharged straight eights back in the 20s and 30s. Now it's all about what Jay Leno told me through His channel. "It's not what I am driving/ riding that blows people's minds. It's that I. Made it there at all. " ... .... I've worked a lot of good jobs and lost all of them. If anyone reads this. I promise family values and beliefs in a higher power are the only things keeping you from that dream you tell no one about. Thank you.

I read it, I read all comments. 🙏🙂 Thank you for opening up, I'm happy to hear I've inspired you. I'm glad to hear you're on a cleaner path than you've traveled before but it's a path worth travelling. Keep up the good work, maybe you'll get that dream job and keep it someday soon.

That is a beautiful ride Kenneth. Your auxiliary shift plate shows a three speed shift pattern because that is what the truck was built with. My 1955 LJX had a three speed Spicer auxiliary. I put a four speed in it to boost my top end. That really brought back some memories. I also had a ball shift knob on the main and a straight on the auxiliary. I'm so glad that you asked for a ride along Mike. Two thumbs up 👍 👍

Why did they use green lights? What did they mean and can you still use them today?

It was a way to identify which trucks had cb radios back in the day plus all the outlaws ran them and could identify each other by the different color lights.
