This is crazy, way before the beatles and stones era, or hendrix era, they already had that rockin music and the attitude as rocker as well. These guy was definetly one of these rock nroll pioneer in term of technic and rock attitude, i think they invented some of that pattern and technique in playing rock nroll They deserve some more recognizition and respect from the music industry. They should be in a some hall of fame music history or life time achievement award or something, the music industry was probably so racist that time...

Actually they much better known in Germany, and so where many "early Indorock" bands as they are called since the 80's, they where hugely succesfull overthere and rather underrated in the Netherlands

The Tielman Brothers. This band was formed in Surabaya, Indonesia during the early 1950's. They were of mixed Dutch - Indonesian (Timorese) ethnicity. However their faces are very typically Indonesian.
