Many, many, I sincerely meant many casual Buddhist believer's had no idea of these existence of the celestial heavens and hells. Practically less that 1% knows or roughly knows of these full destinations! Not to mention Purelands of the 5 directions! Is extremely crucial to emphasise these existence so that we knows very clearly the next course of action before we leaves this Avatar bodies for the best! Jade emperor aka Lord Sakra ? yes , long lifespan doesn’t mean eternal. n Lord Mara has longer lifespan than him bcoz his heaven is higher than those residing in the 2nd level of desire heaven.

學佛, 佛學 Xue Fo or Fo Xue. Same words, reading from right to left and left to right, there are two meanings. Emulate Buddha or Study Buddhism. Xue Fo 學佛 Learn Buddhism, to have wisdom and want to become a Buddha. Fo Xue 佛學 Buddhism study , one analyst the Sutra and one is very knowledgeable about Buddhism. A scholar expert in Buddhism study but with no interest to open up one's wisdom or to become a Buddha. When Shakyamuni Buddha expounded the Lotus Sutra, 5000 of his followers retrogress. Why? Can't understand the Lotus Sutra. One must choose a Sutra according to one's good root. A Sutra that one can easily understand and convinient to practice it. Amituofo 🙏🙏🙏

It depends, if they are in the formless realm (as it’s the highest already), then they will fall to the hell realm like an arrow (because of the frustration/anger of losing their meditative concentration, and they thought they were enlightened but not really), if they r in the desire or the form realm, they may either go up or go down depending on their karma - most heavenly beings particularly in the desire realm can fall to the lower realm (not just the human, can be animal, hungry ghosts and hell) due to being indulge in desire too much in the heaven. i think the Celestials are juz like us humans , some might nianfo diligently n seek Western Pureland rebirth bcoz they hav better wisdom than us , surely they wud know which method to go further or some might resonate with meditative route n seek an Arahat or Bodhisattva realms rebirth. but if they indulge in their bliss or desire too much esp the beings in the desire heavens then definitely their next rebirth will be in lower realms. so many Bodhisattvas manifestation in the Celestial world n i think the Form beings hav better potential to go higher up.

how do you know for sure that he was a meat eater ? yes ,Sakyamuni Buddha when he was in human form n take alms with meat n such, surely his pure mind do not differentiate much but that does not necessary mean that he wud eat it. n what wrong with alcohol consumption if he wasn’t drunk ? alcohol itself does not create sin on its own n infected you with it.

When he eats meat and he spitted out the animals become alive, when he drank alcohol and he spitted out the alcohol becomes gold on the Buddha’s statue. So he is someone with spiritual power and use different skilful means to help save certain kind of beings. Amituofo 🙏

@jacap2362 Buddha was all seeing and describes explicitly all the killing that goes on during farming - killing pests to save crops, thousands of deer, rabbits, mice and insects and trees are killed to protect or grow crops. Meat is allowed for lay people for nutrition and medicine as long as they do not kill on the holy days (full and new moon days) and care for the animals well. Buddha was quite reasonable with regards to our diet - but he did warn that killing will have negative karma associated with it, which is why we should observe the holy days.

@@saddha1 meat is delicious , meat consumption is to fuel our desire , fact n meat eaters are indirectly encouraged killings , break precept , fact but we cannot force anyone esp lay ppl to adhere , force is break precept likewise , the various routes to enlightenment. can’t force ppl to use one route if they don’t resonate with it , isn’t it. but higher beings or enlightenment beings definitely understood it n their desire are lower than us or non desire for the enlightened beings n to eat meat is break precept or non righteous , they wouldn’t engage init.

Meat has nutrient and medicinal value per the Vinaya. Also there are areas and winter seasons where you cannot grow crops. To say otherwise or merely say meat is eaten only for taste is wrong view.
