Love Cube emtb’s ! I’m still riding my Cube stereo hybrid , carbon frame , 140 2020 with upgrades with GX Axis wireless gear set , sweet. I find upgrading your bike works for me if you like the frame set you have. The key here is picking the right parts for what you ride, if it changes so does your bike.

My fav is my own bike☺️ 2022 cube HPC 140 Action Team with XT drivetrain and Fox Factory suspension plus Bosch Gen 4 and 750 watt battery. They even gave an unasked for rebate of 200€ although they had a backlog of orders this April. Total price 6199 EUR, Listprice was 6399. almost 2000km later I can say zero problems, no give on anything, pure joy and reliability. If not for my cube, I would have gone for the mondraker.

As a Rocky Mountain Altitude PP owner you have to try one Sam. Just keep in mind that there is no overrun and the pedaling/power delivery is a natural extension of the power you put in. Very different that most emtbs out there. Looking forward to your thoughts.

Sam, you missed something very important about the new Rail. It’s the new 9.8s & 9.9s that have the new frame. What you missed is that the new bike is mullet compatible. It’s an absolute missile as a mullet. I have no idea why no major reviewer hasn’t tested it set up with the small back wheel. While it’s not as playful as the old bike it’s just plain gnarlier. It rips downhill and turns great for such a long slack bike. It might be the fastest bike I’ve ever ridden. I think that’s why the new Rail has been overlooked. It’s a full enduro now. If I rated it on the same scale that I use for other bikes it probably wouldn’t be high on my list of favorites but if I rated it strictly on lap times….it’s a definite top contender.

I have looked into it, I was told by giant it was the filler used to make the frame look so smooth and cool! So the frames never cracked it was the filler and paint only. Giant told me they changed the filler and it’s all good now.

That one was a replacement unit sent by the manufacturer after we had problems with our very first Keurig. This works fine (lol, at least for now) however I didn't realize the water reservoir was so much smaller than our prior unit. With 2 people having one or two cups of coffee each morning, it seems like I'm refilling it daily. Otherwise just happy to have the convenience of pod coffee vs. making a morning pot.

Everything functions properly kzbin.infoUgkxHL1v1R3NE5x4KiYfyt8dnQmyNYz7qi5L Nothing was damaged in the box aside from a decal on the fork. The decal was missing a piece of a corner but I ended up peeling them off anyways. Assembly is easy BUT make sure you tune up the derailleurs. Both the front and rear need adjusting. I'd advise going to a bike shop but I opted out and put in 10+ hours with the help of KZbin. Ended up fraying a shifter cable but all in all I learned from the experience. The Brakes work well but the front caliper needs adjusting or at least mine did because the rotor was rubbing against the pads. Make sure you swap out the seat, grips, and pedals. For the short run you'll be fine though. I've read that this bike isn't built yet for hard trails but I just need it for the city. PA has some of the worst roads and being in a mountain this was a great choice. Worth the investment!

You mentioned that you didn't ride some of these bikes in the video but some that watch might not watch everything or didn't catch everything and this video gives the impression that you have experience with all these bikes. Too common is it that many of these types of videos comes from "professionals" in the industry that are product sponsors and give raving review cause of the sponsorship. They are just long commercials for said products. This video has that feel.

ROCKY MOUNTAIN BUYER BEWARE!!! When even moderately pushed hard on long climbs, these Rocky Mountain Dyname 4.0 motors will show a code reading "motor overheated" and reduce/limit your power until temperature drop is achieved. This is an unacceptable limitation that is nowhere to be found in any of Rocky's promotional material. As a return customer after riding a 2019 PP Altitude, I am greatly disappointed in this new gen. motor. Rocky Mountain Bikes are building and selling motors that can't be ridden hard. Extreme buyer beware here. Al from Canada.

Hi Sam. Thanks for the reply. My bike shop and myself have been in numerous discussions with Rocky locally here in British Columbia. Not sure what type of terrain you are riding but I think the fall line and really steep conditions in my area are contributing to this. We took a test bike out brand new off the shelf yesterday and had an overheat issue within 45 minutes of climbing. Right from the bike shop. Seriously praying it’s just a bad run of specific bikes or something. The Powerplays are by far my favourite Ebikes. I love my bike, but this limitation is a dealbreaker. I’ll keep you posted.
