Super light all the way, you're totally right about riding by yourself, perfect. In a group ride I can keep up but I just ride harder.

Hi Sam, I can’t believe you don’t have more subscribers to the channel. Love the content and your enthusiasm in delivering it. If I was in the market for an ebike I’d go for the Levo SL. Keep up the good work.

Cool Video as always! I changed back from Levo SL FirstGen to a Levo Gen 3. I have to say I miss it a bit on the down parts, but thanks to mullet Setup it is way less then I thought. The Levo Gen 3 is just beast in every single thing thrown at it! Especially on steep inclines I‘m very happy that I changed back! Sam let me know if you are around Zürich, would be happy to invite you for a beer or dinner!

The Gen3 2022 model Levo S-works turbo is 21,3 kilograms. I think that it is not that hard to ride according to the KenevoSL. Only a few 3-4 kilograms heavier from SL versions. But you get 90 NM of power and 700 watt battery that rides you a full day without thinking any hills. I think Gen3 Levo is the best deal in Specialized history

" mama mia " 😂 that guy is a beast . he could give me a one day head start going up the Alps and still pass me half way on my 110 Nm Nox . Sam , i've had more experience on hills with my Sachs motor since the last time i posted and can say , i doubt any bike could beat it going up hill except maybe the TQ. it's pretty easy to hit the 25 kph motor cut off with the sachs on most long straight hills . Looks,like your having fun in Switzerland .

Cool video, because different Fitness Levels, Fitness Goals, and what others are riding in your group are a big factor in choosing an ebike.

Super light is totally the answer. There’s almost never a climb when I need more power, and it pays dividends on every trail.

Not sure I find the Mary's as grippy on loose terrain apposed to a assegia on front .but trying to get use to it tried 2.4 gravity and 2.6 super trail on cushcore. Not as confident in it but only second ride on the mary

Really nice video Sam, it’s good to see a less extreme trail for a change and Marek was killing the climbs in eco !

And gratz to the winnners! Dang you shouldve stayed in the French alps. Loads of sun last week. Probably more camper friendly as well :) There are some narly trails around here. I just rode the Vallorcine black line (chamonix area), which was featured on fluidride a couple of days a go. If you are looking for trails to train your DH enduro skills, this is the place to be. Would love to see how you ride that black line! I chickened out on some of the steep turns lol...

Great video! What do you consider as “fit”? I am a road cyclist now trying out eMTB. I’m 58, 174 cm, 68 kg, 3.5 w/kg FTP, VO2max about 45. For my age, I think I’m pretty fit but against young ones, another story… I prefer to ride alone but will do group rides. Since I’m new to MTB, so probably ease of riding and control is more important to me. And often I’ll have to ride about 20 km to get to the bottom of the trails. What do you think I should go with? Levo, Kenevo or the SL version? I am so confused between Levo and Kenevo… I’ve seen your comparison video but still trying to wrap my head around the differences. Thanks!

Hey mate unless you want to ride really hard Enduro and DH I would be looking at the Levo or the Levo SL go to a good specialized dealer and test both and go with your gut feeling! I think as a roadie you will have a good base fitness and will like the Levo SL but the Levo is so much fun in turbo just smashing KMS
@nicolapellegrino10723 жыл бұрын
Super light doesn't mean more response from motor.. the torque that's the key for emtbiking on kenevo is missing... when you have climb on technical you need more torque not less weight.. on fireroads that's different. Levo is always the best choice to "do it all" kenevo is a very specific bike, optimized for shuttling and going downhill full speed, the choice between the two depends on what are you going to do on bike (imho). P.S "superlight" means 3 kilos less (on stock bikes not modified) and 56 nm less in torque...it worth the pain? I don't think so.

Guys, Nice review. I need an advice related to sizing. I’m 180 cm and my wife 175 cm. We want to share a bike - my wife for a short tours only really. However, we tried S3 and it seemed to be ok although I looked a bit too big for s3. In the shop they recommended S4 with shorter stem. What would you recommend? Thanks a lot, much appreciated

But the full bike is carbon fiber including the wheels. And they use the top quality carbon fiber products. The quality of carbon makes the pricing. Cheap carbon bikes can get trouble to you
@edwardclark39802 жыл бұрын
@@federaldelii I dont care what it's made of. They are still over priced. You could buy any 450 dirt bike on the market for that much. And at the end of the day, it's still just a bicycle.
@federaldelii2 жыл бұрын
@@edwardclark3980 for example go to any Porsche dealership and ask them to the accessories of Porsche cars. Only mirror lids made of carbon fiber have 1.800 USD pricing. At car accessories 🚗 2 piece of carbon fiber mirror caps have 1800 💵 dollars price. So you can think about how expensive is carbon fiber 👍🏻
