The term “he wasn’t the most conditioned” doesn’t mean he WAS NOT conditioned. He had the BEST flow, BEST structure, BEST lower body, BEST side shots, MOST muscular, the SMALLEST midsection, and the BEST posing. So, all he needed was to be conditioned; not, the most conditioned. How come we leave out those terms when talking about other bodybuilders. How come instead of saying that Hadi was the MOST conditioned - nobody says Hadi didn’t have the best side shots? How about Hadi didn’t have good legs from the rear or side? We keep only emphasizing his condition and forgetting that Samson had him in EVERYTHING else.

We don't. I would say when Hadi won the Olympia it was despite Samson's more dominant stage presence. However conditioning is an easy nitpick to say Samson should improve, I don't think it's unreasonable to want to see improvement
@t3drill
@t3drill 15 күн бұрын
@ I was at the Olympia the last two times and the videos or pictures do not give any of the bodybuilders any justice. Samson was dialed in and had tremendous “separation”. Was Samson as “dry” as Hadi? Not at all; but, he had tremendous condition and much more complete from EVERY angle. That’s what did it - no matter from which angle we looked at Samson he had the 360 look. Hadi was lacking from the back; especially his lower back and legs. Hadi’s legs were also missing from the side. Derek was not that good from the front and his top to bottom proportions were terrible. Samson was very imposing in person; very.

In my opinion, Shawn Rhoden (RIP Legend) was the only Aesthetic bodybuilder that brought the most proportional, symmetry and definition to the opens bodybuilding division after Phil “The Gift” lost his title, then the rest was all about size and mass in my opinion, however, seeing Samson win his first title and finally seeing the aesthetics of symmetry, proportion and definition in the open division makes me believe that Samson can definitely push more than 4-5 titles because his body speaks about Bodybuilding and his aesthetics with his size is perfectly balanced! Which brings me memories of Ronnie, Flex, and Kevin.. which they were all aesthetically pleasing and ferocious on stage!

Bonac usually kills everyone as far as his condition, muscle maturity roundness and fullness, and is a decent poser but he struggles to compete with the top teir because of his genetic flaws, which are his height, size, and Aesthetics. I see the battle between Derek Jacked and Samson, but the 4 -10 is anyone's game. I know that it is an unpopular opinion but I feel like Lunfords 1, Jacked 2, and Samson 3rd will be the outcome because of Samsons lack of conditioning and Jack's leg size, but I'm rooting for Andrew to take it all or for Carlos to make a huge statement.

I guess people will never understand it's a bodybuilding show not a conditioning show. Most of the time the biggest guy with the best structure will win unless they completely out of shape. By biggest I do not mean tallest or heaviest but the most complete. So it shouldn't be a surprise now that Samson has it figured out he's becoming the next multi champ.

I get that people love the narrative of Derek coming back to win the Arnold, but if Samson really does treat the Olympia look as a new baseline to improve on going forward...I just don't see a version of Derek that beats that. Like yeah if Samson gets cocky and comes in off he's definitely beatable, but I just don't really see that happening rn.

Dorian has long said that "coaches" are utterly unnecessary. But, I understand, a completely different era.

All hadi can offer is conditioning, other than that Hadi's body doesn't have anything to look at. Samson, on the other hand is such a treat to eyes. He got everything, he doesn't need to be the most conditioned, he is way better than anyone anyway.

He is a giant. He isn’t a vascular guy but his structure is 2nd to none. The years of the midget 5’6-7 guys are over.A taller guy with size will always look better.

Agreed, I miss the days of next level physiques such as Ronnie, Flex, Shaun, Samson, Freeman, Phil, even Dex…Derek and Hadi are phenomenal bodybuilders but let’s be honest those guys wouldn’t make first call out back in those days, the quality was on a different level, thankfully Samson and Andrew have been improving consistently

I don’t think there’s a standard Nick. We need to stop using that phrase. Sampson won because he was the best bodybuilder that day. But know that conditioning is only 1 factor on stage it doesn’t choose the winner. As far as Shawn it is what it is he’s always gonna be brutally honest on his opinion about coaches. I can see Chris taking what he said negatively but he thinks the athletes at that level being mentally lazy because at this point Dereck has hany’s formula. Changing coaches could mess with that. Shawn also said Dereck knows what to do by now so I get where he was coming from. I guess we’ll see in 7 weeks

Anyone but Hadi fans are glad that conditioning is not THE key factor, Samson had improved his conditioning while also putting on size, Hadi was flat and soft from the rear and had down sized legs he shouldn't have even been 2nd
