Well it is cute and for conferencing it works very well indeed. Just two things to add. The serial number and model are on the bottom for box, not on the mic. Mine came with free audio software from Audiodesk, and to get it I needed to find the serial number. Next, on the first time use the USB setup will change the default audio output to the Sampson Go Mic headphone jack. I went into control panel to change it back to the speakers. No big deal, just an FYI. Thanks for the review Juan :-)

Aaaaaawn that's cute 😍 And that led informing you that you are clipping the sound is awesome. A shame Android USB audio input sucks... You'd really expect this to be solved by now... Specially since iOS had it working flawlessly since day one, from midi to all kind of audio input and output devices. But let's address the elephant in the room, your laptop's mics.... Razer should apologize publicly for it. Add this quality to a average compression due bad connection....

*How did you attach that mic into your lg v30? What otg cable are you using and where can I get one?* I have lg v30 too and I have otg made by OnePlus, but it doesn't work with Samson Meteor or any other usb device when connected to lg v30. I think, I would recommend Samson Meteor over this Go version. It is a little bit larger in size, but it is still compact and is being sold at almost the same price. It has mic stand mount on the bottom, so it feels a little bit more professional. But overall great review!

I use audio Evolution for recording and editing. I like to fruity loops for music creation but I've never tried using it for recording speech which is mostly what I produce.

Just got one. I was very pleasantly surprised myself. And it is cute. My wife dubbed mine "Precious" for heavens sake. Anyway what I was really happy with is the way it mimics a traditional cardioid, as you can use angles and distance, especially with the pad up close, to greatly changes the dynamic of your voice. Love that. Superb product for the price. Thanks for the vid!

I don't like recording near my laptop or computer. Em fans take the noise levels upto -36. I sit on my bed. Put a blanket over me. Plug my lav mic to my phone and boom. A bit better audio. Though I still need to polish my audio editing skills

+painful1978 kinda depends on how you want to use the recording. Generally I like going with some kind of stereo capsule if there's any kind of direction or movement needed. Like say you want a waterfall to sound like it's on your right. I've used portable recorders (like zoom or Olympus) a lot for that. Otherwise, if mono is ok, I'd probably go with a shotgun in a blimp.

Yes, you would want to be in a quiet room using the omnidirectional mode (all directions) of the mic instead of either of the cardioid modes (forward sound).
