I have the same product and had trouble adjusting the arm, because it was so tight. Your video showed me the solution: loosening the hex screws. Since, this product didn't come with any instructions and it's my first microphone boom arm, I didn't want to start unscrewing things till I confirmed that was the best approach. Thanks for the information!

@@KnowledgeSharingTech Good to hear. Not sure if you mentioned it in the video but one good feature as well is that the hollowed out arms means that if you're handy at soldering you can actually cable manage an XLR cable by fishing it internally through the arm before soldering the XLR plugs on.
