Oh my God yes!!!!! That's exactly what you needed to do, to take some acceleration shots. When the weather is warm take a nice midnight run, record a favorite local quick cruising route. I feel like the sound is better at night. Something bout nighttime air. But it sounds great. That's an addicting sound. You just want more. Nice chevy blazer in the back.

I cant find the video anymore. I could have sworn it was you. Night time shot because the tail lights stood out and it's your Harley taking off down the street at night. Sounds amazing.

That’s an awesome sound! Would love to hear them without the torque cones though. And just a regular cruise around the block instead of letting it wind so to really hear it on a normal rev range. But, I’m sold!! I’m installing them on my 2022 CVO Street Glide today!

Hey Reuben! Greetings from British Columbia, Canada. Like so many people you are mistakenly referring to your exhaust pipes as fishtails, when in fact they are boattails. Fishtails as the name implies look like a fish's tail in that it extends downward as well as upward. Nice ride. Ride safe.

Just ordered 36” Samson fishtails. Damn ur bike sounds awesome! I preferred them with baffles not installed. Did you have any problems installing? I’m riding a ‘08 Fatboy with high compression 103, .625 cams and 55m throttle body. I am putting in set of torque cones. Can’t wait. MC

No issues on install baffles are super easy to remove, just be careful some of the heat shields can be a little sharp also Im not sure how the install would be on a twin cam it’s pretty simple with the m8.. I ended up taking the whole exhaust off and am now running a different exhaust I gain 14hp after the motor build from the 107 to 114 high compression

Love this so much!! The exact sound I want. You always hear Harley talk about these engines needing back pressure to run right. They talk about it messing the engine up and all. How has it been since you’ve done this? Is Harley full of crap? Have you noticed loss of power?

Reuben your bike sounds great! I got and 07 Road king (96 engine), I just put on samson 36" fishtails 2 1/4", Stage 1 air cleaner, torque cones. However it sounds like crap compared to yours. Do you think that turner makes that big of a difference?

Samson has them and I ended up not using them they did nothing for it other than it was a son of a gun to get everything to seal right

When it was the stock motor I was able to ride them long distances without baffles although everyone in my crew hated to ride near me.. lol after I built the motor they were way to loud for long trips and they would never tune correct on the dyno.. I went thunderheader and gained 14hp.. if you want the sound and style they are perfect but i wouldn’t recommend them for built motors

i read the comment about the cones, so you did notice a drop on low end without the baffles to begin with? then you added the cones and feel like it helped some but not like they advertise? i'm really curious cause i'm thinking of doing the same thing for my 17 glide, my gf has a 103 in her heritage with the samson fishtails and we ended up with the baffles cut down to just under half size, seems to be the best for performance and sound, but now i'm wondering about the cone idea and no baffle, thanks for any info

It means you have an individual pipe running from the outlet on the jugs to past midframe. On a traditional set up it usually ends in a catalytic converter, or on a 2 into 1 where both outlets of the exhaust merge into one collector.
