Excellent video for a first timer. Tried testing voltages to backlights and got wild high readings? Checked individual LED’s on the strips and several burned out. Should I be concerned about the power supply and replace it also? Or just replace the LED strips and if it works, fine and if it doesn’t drop kick the TV? All other PS voltages good and can see images with a flashlight. Feedback welcome. Thanks!

@@MrHackerDude1 well... Other than that difficulty the tutorial is great. I gave the TV to my daughter. It probably still works. One of my greatest DIYs.

I have a Samsung UN32EH5000F. Replaced the power board and the main board but still cannot power on. What I have found when I unplug the backlight dim control I can power it on but not when is plugged back. The plug for the backlight dim control (CNL802) says D-, +5V, -5V, and D+. Any clue what can be wrong? Thanks

I just took apart my identical TV, wondering if there was anything useful inside. Sometimes electronics have nice magnets, sometimes the screen is a nice tempered glass plate. I've seen a few tutorials for how to make various non-working LED TVs into just LED lights but I'm worried that I'll mess it up. Could you make a video showing how to utilize only the LED function of this TV?

What's the price of Samsung 32 inch led backlight and how many strips in each model

I noticed you don't test the LED strips before you reassemble the TV. Shouldn't you see if the LED's are going to work before you but everything back together?

Great tutorial for opening up the TV! I replaced my lights last night, but still have the same problem. It's a black screen, sound good, and images only seen by flashlight. I will start looking into circut boards.

Note: Be careful with that panel. Use cut proof glass when removing it. It is a thin glads sandwich. I did cut my hands when lifting it.

Here's a question for anyone... I have the issues of a blank screen... however, when I plug the system in I will often get a 'splash screen' for about 1 second. Tore the set down to the LED strips being viewable, plugged it in....both LED strips light up for about 1 second...then nothing. Tried a T-conn replacement board with no luck. I am thinking the LED strip aren't the problem, but it look like the main board is bad with regards to driving the LED strips. Everything else seems to work as it will turn on to some internet channel (or something) that I can change channels and hear audio. If I shine a bright light on the screen I can see the screen menu and move around with the remote....Granted I should probably just trash the whole thing....but it has now gotten personal where I refuse to let this TV beat me...lol. So what is the general consensus...replace the main board...take it out back for target practice...or is there something else I am missing...?
